Mods, Regrinds, Cerakote, and Sharpening

Well I just wanted to say that I appreciate everyone's patience w/ me during the move into the new shop. I am officially "in" and have a BUNCH of orders to catch up on hehe. I still have some finishing touches to put on, such as putting a few interior doors up and finishing out my paint room, but I am planning on doing that this week so I can take care of all of you who are on the Cerakote list. Anyway, here's an idea of what I have been working on over the past few months!! It is a huge and nice upgrade for me moving from an 8x16 enclose trailer into this 12x40 shop. I am very blessed.

Oh, and yes that 7.5HP air compressor weighs about 930 lbs lol, that's why I hired a moving company to move all the heavy stuff in! Wasn't worth a surgery ;)

Ah. Dillon RL550B. (looks like at least) my choice too. Congratulations on the shop upgrade, Josh.

Great shop! I can't wait to see my ZT-801! You're making it hard for me not to get a regrind and swedge.

Perfect shop bro, so nice and organized....wonder how long the 'organized' part will last!

Why no drywall?

Great looking set-up! Looking forward to being a customer again!

Love the regrinds and logo. I will have to send something in to get done!!!

Thanks guys! Whenever you need something done let me know, I'm only a phone call or text away ;)

Hahaha, maybe by the time I get this paint room done you will have made the extra cash lol! Nah, seriously though I got almost everything in for the paint room I just have to actually set it up now :/

I hope it lasts indefinitely... It is so much easier to stay organized when you have the room! Makes it easy to find stuff hehe. Didn't go w/ drywall because it cost more and it's just a shop and not needed. =) Haven't gotten your knife yet but I'll shoot you an email when it comes in!

Awesome work Josh. Love it.

Thanks Josh,

This one in particular is one of my fav's on this thread. That thing is now a work of art. One of the best looking Tanto's I've seen.

I will be ringing Josh's bell here in the next couple of weeks for a blade I just ordered with a Tanto edge.

Before pics of the Busse AD I just dropped in the mail for Josh. It's pretty darn sharp right now but I want it thinned out a bit better so it looks sexy. I carry it too much for it to be non sexy.:)

^ you guys flatter me... you should stop! :welcoming: I'm always learning, and once in a while I have to replace a knife if something goes wrong, but I always seek to make it right and make my customers happy for sure. Biggest annoying thing for me when dealing w/ businesses is non-communication. So I try to always be available and responsive. And that was very kind of you to post that thread in the GBU Alex, thanks!

I'll see if I can't get it thinned down a bit but still leave it able to handle anything life throws at ya ;) I'm thinking probably what we set Alex's strider to... .023-.025" on the main edge and let it widen up a bit to .035" or so at the tip for prying strength. What edge angle is it at currently? Looks fairly low, which is good.

Man haven't had a ton of time to work on shop... :/ Got my air system up and running though, which is NICE!

Anyway, just finished up a few!
