Hi Josh,

Having trouble getting an email through from your website. Can you shoot me a note at mako20ft at msn dot com ? I have 2 knives that might use your skills.

Much appreciated,
Dutch S.

Email sent thanks Dutch.

I have a Cold Steel Voyager XL Vaquero, and when I carry it in my pocket, even if I oil it first, it has small rust spots by the end of the day. Would cerakoting the blade keep it from rusting?

Absolutely 😊

Yay :D
Would you be able to do it in Kryptek Typhon?

I am definitely working on it... got the kryptek pattern figured out (how to make it in adobe illustrator) and now I just have to make some good stuff up and cut it out! Then it's a matter of using the airbrush right w/ the right colors... Let's give it a shot!

:D
How much for just the blade and how much for the whole knife? Could you do just the blade and the thumb stud?

Just got word my Adamus has been shipped back to me. Josh was nice enough to send a few pics.

Haha you beat me to the punch! Went out today! Was able to take it a little lower: about .005" thick since it was such thick stock with a low grind height. Should cut like a demon now! It was .040"-.070" at the tip before I started working on it I believe...

Wow. Exciting. That edge is so wide one might think it's a chisel grind. :-D
Shows how thick the Adamas is.
I bet it's a great cutter now and still does harder tasks well due to the thick stock.

Another testament to Josh's sharpening skills.. I took my SMF that Josh had reprofiled a while back apart last night and froglubed it and slipped a bit when putting it back together and the edge barely touched my skin. After I got the blood stopped I admired the nice clean cut. :-)

Haha well actually that's the primary grind you are seeing... the edge is the extremely thin strip that is hard to see ;)

Man gotta be careful w/ that thing!! lol glad it's still going strong Greg!

Keep coming back to look at it. Just very cool.
Did you sharpen the swedge as well or just remove the cerakoting there or is it still black and the picture is playing tricks on my eyes.
