Mods, Regrinds, Cerakote, and Sharpening

Just finished up a few Ti pens in different colors of Cerakote and then put a high gloss coat over top.

These combos are sweet:

Josh you gotta hook me up with those pen! email me!

Hey Josh, just sent ya an e-mail, might want to check the spam folder if you don't see it, thanks for your time.

Some recent work!

ZT 0550 regrind to 220 grit, converted to a slicer grind, removed the bull nose swedge for a more prominent distal taper.

Here's an Emerson CQC-6 restoration! Reground to 400 grit, hand rubbed the flats, Cerakoted the pocket clip, and bead blasted most everything else.

This was an interesting CQC-8 grind! I ground in a fully sharpened swedge but dulled the portion that is sitting out of the scales.

Hey Josh, what's your current turn around time on a regrind? I need your 60 grit action magic on my ZT0630!

Hey man! Unfortunately it's 5 weeks right now and doesn't look to be slowing down at this point.

Here's some recent work I just finished up!

A ZT 0200 - removed the recurve and bead blasted for a frosty satin finish

Here's a Microtech Socom Delta (before/first pic - not mine - is how it is from the factory). I converted the stock tanto configuration to a more conventional drop point shape along with adding serrations, enhancingand modifying the spine/swedge area, adding the Microtech logo back to the blade, and bead blasting the blade.

Yes... this is a hollow ground swedge - my first but was a fun change (you can see the bare metal shot and then after when I bead blasted it...

Excellent work Josh!
Looking forward to the Tuff grind.

Thanks! It's Gonna be sweet!

What cerakote color is on that red pen? Crimson?

Yep, Crimson Red and Graphite Black I believe. I have since gotten another, slightly brighter red in (USMC Red). Also, I had to do away w/ the gloss coat because there was issues w/ it so now the most gloss I can do is satin.

Thanks Josh! I have been thinking of something kind of wild that involves that cerakote, but I have spent to much recently so I am going to take a buying break for a few months before contacting you.

Had Josh touch up a couple more of my edges so my OCD would be happy. Stellar work as usual and he even offered to show me how not to screw my tips up when I do them myself. Top Notch for sure. He did the Z-Wear SMF in this pic.. after I had my way with it..

I just have to rub my eyes everytime I jump on here to see where things are at with you bro.....

I think what you do for people and their knives is an invaluable service.

What you can do now with a blade is magic.
Your grinds where perfect in the beginning, they are now as good as some of the best custom knife makers.

Just blowing my mind man, you have earned and deserve the success....
