Mods, Regrinds, Cerakote, and Sharpening

Sorry just to double check before I try doing the same thing. You got the screws, liners and barrel spacer cerakoted? Thanks.

Yeah, blade, liners, all hardware is what i told him. And all hardware is the pocket clip, all screws, spacers, stop pin. Only thing that wouldnt be coated is the pivot itself of course because thats going to be in the blade.

I was putting a coat of Tuf Glide on the 3V and took a nice little slice off the tip of the index.
And for some stupid reason it put a grin on my face.:D
I can't wait to put this one to work, it's a beast and your grind looks incredibly slicey.

Ouch! Be careful man... my wife makes some amazing salve, thinkin about including a small "sample" size in some packages :D

Here's a Stedemon Bastion (the first is a stock photo so you can see before). Reground to 220 grit, installed a large finger choil, and Cerakoted the scales in a cracked earth pattern utilizing Magpul FDE and Desert Sand colors.

I know right!! It is a solid knife though, much like the Reates. Thanks man!

Just got my baby back from Josh, and holy moly this is officially the best knife I own! ZT0180 with denim micarta and G10 scales by Sketchen Scales, and regrind, cerakote (blade and hardware), sharpening, and bead blast on scales by Josh. I'm blown away man thank you!

I can't say enough good things about Josh's work or business practices. Send him your knives, you won't be sorry.

Josh keeps supplying great cutting edges! Once you go REK, it is becoming more difficult to stay with a fat factory grind. This is my 4th Hinderer that Josh has transformed from a sturdy pry bar that can cut to a cutting machine that can pry.... He also makes the grinds beautiful to look at. This one is a Spanto that is now hollow ground over the belly with a flat ground tip (but appropriately thin behind the cutting edge). He also made a slight enhancement of the swedge.

Had a few minutes at my office for a cell phone shot.

And for comparison, here is the knife before the REK Regrind.
