Modular Leather Becker Sheaths(Pic Heavy) *UPDATE*

Absolutely stunning work. Functional art is what you've created there.

Do you have a ball park estimate of when you'll start taking orders? For me it would be for the BK9.

Keep us posted.

That is amazing. It looks very "gentlemanly" and rugged, like some high-end L.L. Bean accessory or something. I'd buy it.

I have one of Goose's CS Trail Hawk sheaths. He does some quality work! I look forward to seeing just how this turns out!!

Goose, that is some

ASTOUNDING WORK!!!!!

Truly a craftsman hands you have. That is one of the most innovative and creative designs I have ever seen, and very well done to boot!!

What is the leather weight? Sinew or nylon?

Absolutely fantastic work, brother, well done, truly well done.:D:thumbup:

Thanks Moose!

I exclusively use 8oz leather. I did use Tandy in the past, but this latest side is Wicket and Craig, and I am pretty sure the next side will be from them as well. The W&C leather just seems to take dye alot better than the Tandy stuff. For pouches and such I use 3-4oz leather, although I may bump that up to 5-6oz.

I use artificial sinew, its just what I started with so I have kept using it. I would like to find some nylon thread to try out though.

I will have the BK9 sheath ready this weekend, so stay tuned for updates!

Yep, I have the BK9 sheath almost done. I was hoping to get these prototypes done sooner, but I have been really busy catching up on other custom orders.

To many projects and not enough time....whats this thing they call sleep anyways?

I will try and get the BK9 sheath posted this week sometime.

Striking. I prefer your current approach i.e. the square shape. Tastes differ but I think your approach is fresh looking as well as being a beautiful piece of work.

The BK9 sheath is finished. Still working on the altoids tin pouch.

Very awesome. Now finish those pouches! I wanna see this thing come together like in the pics!

Very cool!! It almost looks like the BK2 could piggy back the BK9 sheath.

Can that one also be had with a dangler belt loop ?

Certainly can! I just borrowed the belt loop from the BK2 sheath for the photo op(see the modularity? ;) ). I am planning on making a belt loop for the BK9 that has baldric rings on it. I will be sure to make a dangler ring belt loop as well.
