Modular Leather Becker Sheaths(Pic Heavy) *UPDATE*

Goose, any idea if a BK10 will fit in one of those? I've already got a custom sheath for my 2, but will probably be giving my 10 the spa treatment and might be wanting new pantalones for it.

Its possible that the BK10 can fit within this sheath design, but the center wedge will have to be cut to the BK10 shape. I will be acquiring a BK10 in the future and I will see if its possible to fit into the confines of this sheath.

I updated my site with prices, check it out.

B.G. Leatherworks Store

Its still on for the Wednesday September 7th release date. I will open for orders at 7:00pm Central Time. I will have 3 sheaths with the standard belt loop and a couple accessories available for immediate purchase. All other orders will be made to order after those are sold. It wont take me long to complete orders, but if I get alot of them it will push the wait time back, so you'll have to get in line if you want a sheath.

In the meantime, more eye candy! :D

Just curious if there is an idea on price yet. Think my BK2 needs some new shoes ;)

Goose, outstanding work! Any chance you are thinking of a design for the BK-7? A design similar to what you created for the USMC Combat Knife would be ideal.

The designs for the BK7 and BK9 will essentially be the same as the BK2 sheath, just the base sheath will be longer. All the other accessories will be interchangeable.

Here are some pics of the leg strap attachment offered for these sheaths. This works very well with the dangler belt loop.

The attachment can be either mounted for high leg carry(pictured above), or low leg carry, simply my flipping the kydex piece over. Its an option for whatever feels most comfortable. I like the high leg carry, because I am a shorter guy and it rides better on my leg. Taller folks may want to mount it for low leg carry.

That is outstanding. That setup is the cats meow. Dangler, legstrap, Altoids tin holder & firesteel loop. A working knifes wet dream !!!

Goose_52, quick question: Is it possible to have the leg strap holder on the outside of sheath, even with the Altoids tin holder on ? I only ask this because i was thinking it may irritate/chafe the leg when worn for a long time/hikeing/working especially with shorts on. This may even be a non-issue, IDK, just thinking outloud.

Your stupid sheath made me buy a BK2. I have a CS Frontier hawk on order so I want to order a BK2 Sheath with modular attachments and the CS frontier hawk sheath. Do you do a multi discount like progressive INS.? LoL seriously nice leather. I just have to get some wood handles.

Since the belt loop is composed of 3 stacks of leather, it keeps the entire sheath far enough away for this not to be an issue. Regardless, you'd have to have some pretty short shorts for the leg strap to be touching skin. So the question is...who wears short shorts? ;)

wow i love the simplicity to your sheath, ive been wanting to get a leather sheath and i think yours are gonna be the way i go plus 140 for sheath and pouch???? incredible i will be in contact soon very excellent work!!!

Just a little update. I am currently working on the horizontal (scout) carry panel for the Modular sheath. It will consist of a kydex panel with leather belt straps. This will attach to the back of the sheath, and will leave the front of the sheath open for accessories to be mounted. I plan to offer a horizontal pouch panel, probably one big enough for an altoids tin and a firesteel loop. I will post some more pics soon!
