Wow. This is absolute badassery.

Count me in for a BK2 sheath.... when will they be available I wonder?
 
UPDATE:

The Modular Sheath design for the BK2 is nearing completion.

I will be taking orders on Wednesday September 7.

There will be 3 complete sheaths ready for sale at that time, and will be offered on a first come first serve basis. All orders placed after those sheaths have been sold will be made-to-order.

I will be posting final prices for the sheath and accessories in one weeks time. Until then here is some eye candy of the final design.

sorry without running back through the whole thread what is the size of the firesteel loop?
 
Wow. These things look bulletproof. These sheaths look just as tough as the knives themselves. I normally don't like leather, but I'll be considering one of these. Great match for a working man's knife, Goose. Awesome job.
 
Hey Goose, those look sensational! I have a great custom sheath for my BK2, but my LE BK10 fits in it actually a little better than the 2, so I would still be interested in one of these rigs. Couple of questions though...

Is the one pictured made for a left-hander, or is the channel not blade-shaped and the knife can be turned either way? Wearing it right-handed the way it's pictured, the grip would be in a stabbing position with the edge facing front is why I'm asking.

And second, assuming I won't get in on the first three, do you have an estimate for turnaround on new orders?

Blue, that was a left handed sheath simply because I had attached a left handed belt loop to the sheath at the time I took pics. The only thing different between a right/left handed sheath is the belt loop because of the way the retention strap is designed. The platform is the same, all you have have to do is flip it over since the front and back of these sheath are identical.

Turn around time will be 3-4 weeks.

Had always kinda worried that this thread and sheath was going to die; glad it didn't. Not sure I'll be able to swing one, but if not then I know I'll enjoy seeing others' photos of theirs.

Goose, any idea if a BK10 will fit in one of those? I've already got a custom sheath for my 2, but will probably be giving my 10 the spa treatment and might be wanting new pantalones for it.
 
If you want one like that for a 5 you need to talk to Goose. I might be sending him a couple blades for him to template so maybe if you ask both he and I, nice like, I might send that one too. Till then though, I'm using a spec ops sheath for my 5 :D
