55 – my combat knives need dark colored canvas micarta, my hunting knives need light colored linen micarta, my "other knives" (little used, decorator types, etc.) can have stag, leather, or a very hard wood like ironwood.

...and both the young and the very old are authorized to use fractions of years. Some guy that's 99 ½ years is certainly proud of that half year. Actually, he's proud of each new day!

Depends on the knife. With a folding tactical, I prefer G10 or Titanium. On a fixed blade hunding knife, I like stag or wood.

I'm 30, and my favourite handle material is G10, but I have nothing against other composites, FRN, stainless steel, titanium or stabilized wood. However I would never buy anything with MOP stag or bone. I also dislike aluminium, but that is not a certain dealbreaker.
