Most over-rated production knife brand?

I think Becker is totally over-rated. I've watched all the action movies and nary a hero or villain has chosen to use one.

Without a celebrity endorsement like Deadpool they're dead in the water.

The only reason people buy Emerson knives is to Instagram then sitting on a Punisher T-shirt.

Survey says,,,, Over rated!
Sorry, don't own a Punisher t-shirt.

If you use anything else for EDC? What do you consider as a typical EDC task? I hope this is satire because otherwise Cold Steel marketing really got you and turned you into a snob who thinks that the only measure of how good a knife is is how much weight you can hang from the handle. Really, please tell me you are joking

Oh, you been got!

I'm pretty sure this was what is called sarcasm. :D

Found another one; they make this huge generalization that everyone carries a wallet all the time.

Failhard.

Watch out for those brittle Emerson knives, when you remove that from the tree I'm sure the liner lock is going to snap in half and you'll cut your fingers off, that is if the 154 was able to hold its edge.......better have punisher T-shirt near by to stop all the bleeding.

You can never be too careful.

:D

Don't worry, I'm sure the 154 will just disintegrate before he can pull it all the way out. It's a safety feature so that when the liner lock does snap in half, you wont lose your fingers.

I actually have an Ian Sinclair card sharp in my wallet...

Now, you're not going to kill zombies with it, but it is a very sharp little slicey thing. Nice little insurance option... Now is it worth the $15-20 it often retails for? Nope. Not at all... But, if you shop around you can find awrsome deals and buy a bulk order of 10 for $10 + shipping, and it is certainly worth every penny of a $1.30.

That Ernie thinks of everything...

That's because he has been bought and paid for by manufacturers and makers, He got a steep discount on the Sigil in return for doing the review then I believe he sold the knife for a hefty profit because everyone has to have the "In" knives Skeleton reviews. He did the exact same thing with the MSC SJ75 too the man is only in it for the money.

And I 100% agree with Emerson being overrated, truthfully the fit and finish on my custom is not even that good with the bolsters not matching up the the micarta scales.

And you got this valuable information about Skelton from what source?

Pretty nasty accusations without proof.

Welp, ya learn something new every day haha. I thought that he was somewhat legit and just rich, but I should have guessed that he was bought due to his overwhelmingly positive reviews of every knife as if it was his first love.

Thanks for the information!
Thats it? One post from a random stranger on the internet and it must be true?

It should have been pretty obvious that his post was sarcasm.

Well then here's some more truth; I'm actually a giant lizard in real life.
I've posted it more than once, so it must be extra true. :D

I'm surprised I can type as well as I can, considering these dang claws keep getting in the way...

I am not able to disprove his statement, and I had read some comments with similar satements. There is no proof though, so who knows except Jim....his videos are suspiciousy positive though, and the point about his Sigil review are suspicious. No one who usually shows blade centering simply forgets to show it in a review, I just don't see that happening with a $1k+ knife

Do you have proof either way? I aam interested to know if he is legit or not from your opinion

You know what?

I'm having a really hard time believing a lizard was able to write a book and better yet, hold a knife....

I call bullshit......but that's just like my opinion.

You may be right...I've been wrong about quite a few things over the years. ;)

For instance, I thought marrying my first wife was a good idea. :D
Marrying my current wife was a good idea; she buys me knives.

Same is true of stabman's lizard heritage. Somebody said it on the internet, I can't disprove it, so its true.

Much like the claims I've been reading about framelock lockbars lately. I have never seen any evidence of them being bendable by small children like paperclips, but until I get one and give it to a child and show they CAN'T, you gotta assume that they CAN be bent by small children like paperclips
