Most versatile/well-rounded knife you have

When I think of "all around best", I picture a knife that could be pressed into most any situation and handle a task with a bit of outside the box thinking.
Sharp, strong, light enough to carry, big enough to perform a task (or at least perform a task that would help to perform a task), easy to sharpen, and has a good general purpose edge. I would also think it should be of a size that could be an EDC as no one sets out expecting to need a do-it-all knife until they find themselves in a situation where it all needs to be done

For me it's this one:

Fiddleback Monarch. 3.75ish inches of blade, tapered stock, light on the belt, wide enough to do serious work, pointy enough to pierce, stong enough to baton (if you feel the need and don't over stress it). My favorite knife.

Native 5 lw in spy27. It’s big enough for what I need a knife for. Small enough to be legal on school grounds or certain localities. Light and small enough to carry all the time and easy to sharpen. It’s cheap enough that I can always buy another if it was lost. The performance was a pleasant surprise. I bought it as a budget knife but find myself carrying it often.
To me this is comparable to a glock 19 in the knife world.

Cold Steel original Recon 1 with the axis lock, had it for years, it's never let me down. Not the nicest knife I own but it's my EDC.

For an all-arounder, it probably should be a drop point... Or MAYBE a Wharncliffe

Add in a neutral handle that allows for lots of different grips and you've got a winner.

Many suggestions here, fit this formula.

Carried a large Sebenza for 2 decades, and that would have been my answer. However, the recent unpleasantness has resulted in my working away from the office. This allowed me the opportunity to enjoy carrying a fixed blade regularly. As such, I’ve coalesced around a Spyderco Street Beat, and an 84mm SAK (small climber). Between the two I’m good, but the Perrin gets used for just about all cutting. I forgot how nice and useful a ~3” fixed blade is, when done right and sharpened properly!

I can’t pick just one cause I use different types for different purposes but the one I’ve used over the years in more instances and general purpose is a Buck 110 with exception i
to my professional job.

I could probably do 95% of the things I use a knife for with a 110 but there’s some things I do that either require more blade length or some tasks when I need a smaller knife to fit where a 110 is to big. Also my knife needs in my professional job are different than when I’m off duty. At work I use a Buck Vantage Pro in 20cv mostly for high corrosion resistance and higher edge retention not to mention one hand operation and quick easy access when I need to keep a hold onto things while I retrieve my knife or put it back in my pocket. But I still have a 110 in my pickup as backup.
