"Mr. Sandman, bring me a 2024 Forum Knife!"

My vote is for a custom order victorinox alox 91mm two springs, maybe a bushcrafter style, saw and main blade.

I wish you all the luck in the world with that. The last time I checked Victorinox's Custom Shop, you could get whatever you wanted printed on a standard production model. Period.

A man can wish. I'm not even sure if Victorinox does SFOs anymore, or what their order minimum is.

So I'm going to come back to the issue I find worst about this whole process; 75% of those who sign in to buy a forum knife never do a dang thing else in the forum. I feel that the fact that Spark has been trying to sell an added 14 knives for 6 weeks now emphasizes this. The fat majority of the forum knives no longer go to forum participants.

I have no idea on how to fix this. But the way I see it there's maybe 200 people who participate on a regular basis with this forum, not 500+, and that's who we should be aiming the annual knife at.

Where? I’ve recently committed to a knife, just waiting for the guy to send through details so I’m not in money at the moment. But I would love to have got one.

Yeah, it’s true, but everything comes at a cost. Having a neat forum trophy knife comes at the cost of dealing with the riffraff. It used to tack me off, but there are other battles that are more fruitful.

Personally, I feel bad for anyone that must disingenuously acquire a forum knife. They are the worst kind of person, and they have to live with that knowledge.
