You told me through email that the Y.C. stood for Yarborough Custom.

I asked chris reeve and they sent me this back.

Hello Gary,

Thank you for your email concerning the YC 03; the series of knives were ordered as an engraved custom for one of our dealers. The YC does not stand for Yarborough Custom; the knife is a Green Beret. Apparently, our dealer had someone with the initials YC order 4 knives but, the order was cancelled and he has since sold the knives to other parties.

Due to this incident we have since revisited our engraving policy and apologize for the misunderstanding this may have caused. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

Regards,

Mindy

Sorry but i am not posting peoples personal email communication on a public forum even though i know it would shut you up ;)...if you dont want to believe me then dont.....like i said before i have nothing to prove here.

Anyway where is Oppressor ?
and it will be reported to UK customs

you agreed to purchase and paid me what we both ageed on and tried to get me to put myself in legal jeopardy, i will never ship or deal with anyone else outside the USA again. Further more i am going to contact the UK Customs and report this whole transaction.

by the way Murdoch123 i thought you were leaveing the country as you told PayPal and myself and you had instructed someone to not accept the shipmen from me, HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM i guess this is another lie!!!

If the knives were not as they were represented to be, then murdock123 would certainly be within his rights to cancel the deal, but it looks as if he decided to go ahead with the deal even though he knew the knives were not as represented.

The main issue appears to be that the seller told the buyer that he would put a low value for Customs on the knife, and without letting the buyer know, he decided not to do this. The buyer should have been informed of this so that he could decide if he still wanted the knives knowing he would have to pay a huge amount to VAT. Personally, I don't think murdock123 did anything wrong in deciding not to accept the knives when they arrive. However, I do think it is wrong of him to state that he was scammed and that De Op purposely put the higher value for Customs on the knife to get even with him. There is no proof of that, and without proof, someone should never make accusations like that.

As far as putting the perceived value of the knife as the value for Customs, that is BS. The amount that is supposed to be put on there is the actual amount paid for the knives. Customs do not allow for the subjectivity of perceived value. Most people ask that knives that are being shipped to a different country be given a low value. If you do so, just realize that you are asking the seller to something illegal. Don't try to make sound like everything is okay because you can somehoe justify what you are doing by saying that you perceive the value of the knife to only be a few dollars worth of steel and handle material. If you have any doubts about this, go to Customs and ask the Customs Inspector if it's okay to give any value you want to something that you are importing. I'm sure he/she would have a good laugh at that one.

no as i told in email i contacted my lawyer and he said absolutely do not falsify a US Customs Declaration Document and i did not do anything illegal at all. You did by trying to get me to do so. So i am sure they will flag your name and check all of your packages.

I think my dealings with alot of very prominent members and newer members also speaks for its self in which dozens of transaction have been completed without even a grain of sand throughout the deal. I see you just joinned here and how many succesful deals have you had here. I am honest and upfront with all my slaes and puchases. Its clear and evident you are doing this trying to smear my name here.

Vindictive!!!!!! i am not the one who purchased knives paid and has committed fraud to Paypal causeing them to put a temporary hold on my account. First you lied and said you had not recieved the items when you were full aware they had not had time to be recieved, since i just emailed you mins before and let you know they had just cleared US Customs. Believe me they know what you are up to.

We can all shout about past deals, for instance in the last month i have had dealings directly with Bill Luckett, Bernard Levine, Jay from Jays knives, Gil Hibben, William Henry and i am not even adding the european collectors.

I have a funny feeling they may not be dealing with you either, you have proved beyond doubt what i am saying is correct and you are also evading the questions i asked earlier about the knives among other things.

If I might ask Mr. Murdoch one question?

Since the knives have not yet arrived, what are your options? If you accept them, you would be charged the $600, but if you refuse them, do they simply return to sender, with no such charge to you?

I have a question for De Opresso Liber as well: have you contacted any Customs organization yet, and if not, if Mr. Murdoch returns the knives, package unopened, can this deal be closed status quo ante so to speak, knives and money in their original hands?

Obviously both sides and a few bystanders are pretty upset by this transaction. I suggest securing everyone's financial stakes in this as quickly as possible, rather than allowing bad feelings to make the situation worse.

nothing has been proved here except you are a liar and can not be trusted at all end of subject. And i refuse to have any more dealings with you either through emails or this forum. We will let UK Customs and the Royal Postal Service determine who is comitting fraud. And its really clear you get off on this whole process of trying to ruin someones reputation.
