I believe you have a keeper my friend.Yes. My wife's 111. And she loves it.

I don't use Shiros myself. She has two now, but only keeps using this one.

You'd probably reconsider if you knew the full extent of the storyAlso, do you need another family member in your life who would absolutely appreciate gifts of this nature?
Wow, purely amazing! Thank you for all the pictures, definitely puts their size into perspective. Yeah a nice case is def a plusLots of nice knives mentioned. While not the easiest to get, I do second many of the previously mentioned. Here are some pics that might help decide and some size comparison.
Not sure if you were going to get something additional to present the knife. In one of the pics below, Arno Bernard also makes, sells nice cases to possibly keep the knife in after the recipient gets the knife.

Not necessarily, I personally love otfs but it can be a folder too, manual or AutoDidn’t the OP say he prefers an OTF knife? If so, were any Out The Front knives recommended?
That one was tempting with the DLC blade. Good choice.

For that budget a Damascus SHF would be sweet! Flourish handle is one of the current designs that looks great!
Go to
Spartan Babe if I could only keep 1. Borderline terrible picture. So much better in person.
