Thank you! That's the idea for sureGood of you! My first though was your purchase at that price range should create an âheirloomâ especially since it is a family gift.
Not fixed blade knives. But that's definitely something unique I haven't seen yet
All mirror DLC, extremely hard to capture how stunning these are in person. Itâs a liquid black ink mirror polished blade sharpened to a zero edge, no bevel. My favorite that I carry is the Tanto Chi with the Stingray inlay.

Oh, interesting. You may be right on some of them. However, the Higo II and Hizen comes down to a zero edge from where the bevel starts. Either way, not really the point of the post but thanks for your 2 cents without any helpful informationHate to break it to you, but those are not zero ground edges. All of them have bevels. Rockstead has two different grinds, and those are not the zero ground version.

Yup just bought the purple plauqe doctor with DLC blade. I was more thinking something big BIG. Maybe a hatchet or an axe?? He lives in MO and has his own farm so it'll def be a user. Any suggestions appreciated
Buy a Cold Steel Espada XL with polished handle. It dwarfs any of the folders that have been suggested by far. Actually even the Large version is bigger than any of them.Yup just bought the purple plauqe doctor with DLC blade. I was more thinking something big BIG. Maybe a hatchet or an axe?? Youâre incorrect, do more research next time before correcting someone.. Also, it would have been helpful if you offered the models that you are stating that have zero edges. You had 2 opportunities to âhelpâ and you didnât which leaves me to conclude that you are a troll or just a an bs instigator.Itâs helpful to know when youâre incorrect![]()
Midgards Messer makes some monstrosities of a folder. Real cool designs that put a larger blade than the handle. Also, as far as a hatchet/tomahawk goes, Winkler seems to be popular amongst some of the special operations dudes. They're not as flashy, but they're built tough as hell.Yup just bought the purple plauqe doctor with DLC blade. I was more thinking something big BIG. Maybe a hatchet or an axe?? Any suggestions on some big/overbuilt knives? For a big dude with Excavator hands?
I already conceded that two of the models were not zero edge. However, the Higo II and the Hizen are zero edges. Your initial comment is that none of the models had zero edges. Which makes you 100% incorrect in your initial statement. I win, you lose and youâre just a troll and thatâs being kind. Done with you.The research:

Those are all budget models anyways.
Yep, even a VG-10 Delica would be mind blowing to a non-knife person. My thoughts exactly. A non knife enthusiast most likely wonât âget itâ. If the cost is intended to impress the recipient, there are plenty of knives for $200 or less that would do that with the greatest of ease. Most non knife enthusiasts would be shocked that anybody would spend $200 on a knife.
Hell Razor 2 looks right up his alley. Thank you!Only one thing comes to mind for that... BUSSE!
YUUUUP! That's right on the money! My #1 pick for him so far. Thank you!Buy a Cold Steel Espada XL with polished handle. It dwarfs any of the folders that have been suggested by far. Actually even the Large version is bigger than any of them.
