Sorry for my english :o

Hi Sal,

1) I carry 2 knives - one is a 2" fixed, the other a 3.5" folder.

2) The small fixed is carried for SD and occasional utility. The folder (an opinel) is strictly for cutting.

3) I owned and used knives by age 8, but didn't carry until 17.

Hope you're an expert witness as opposed to a defendant!

1. 3.5 to 4"

2. Utility purposes and food.

1. Preferably 4", generally something between 3.5 and 4 inches

2. Random cutting tasks, -> Utility

3. Age 10-12 (can remember exactly), as a boyscout.

Good Luck.

Usually about 3 to 3.25 inch blade length, and definately used for all kinds of utility purposes, opening boxes, envelopes, cutting carpet ( I work construction some), wood carving, etc...
Got my first knife at age 8 and have had one ever since.

1. 2.5-3.5 inches
2. utility purposes: boxes, tape, string, rope, plastic ties, food, yard work, etc.
3. everyday since 12 years old in Boy Scouts (I'm now 44)

1. What size (blade length) knife do you normally carry?

My everyday carry is a Swiss Army Knife by Victorinox, with a blade of <2.5'', however other times I'll carry a FRN Delica (about 2.75") or a Benchmade Griptilian with a blade length of about 3.5"

2. What do you use your knife for?

I use my knife for everyday cutting chores. (opening packages, cutting paper, opening cans when I want to do it with the SAK opener, whittling, etc) I'm 15 years old right now, and because of school I find myself doing lighter cutting chores because I only carry a knife from 2:45 pm until I go to bed. This means I don't need the strength of the Delica or Griptilian so for schooldays I just carry a SAK.

3. At what age did you begin carrying a knife?

I started carrying a knife (Wenger Esquire) when I was 5 years old. I'd use it for cutting twigs and things in the woods.

Good luck in court, Sal, whatever this is, I hope it turns out in your favor!
