Sal,
Best of luck with this.

3-4 inch for sd as a rule
sak hiker for utility

one never gets used
sak for chores such as box/package opening including the tough straps/plastics that bind them; mail; the inevitable errant threads on clothes, cutting plants back in the yard when I'm too lazy or don't care to take the time to go get the right tool; any rope that needs it, etc.

Got my first knife around 10-11 yrs old. That would be 40 and a few years ago now.

Hi Sal,

2. Opening mail, removing staples, opening boxes at work, trimming up

Need your help:

I’m involved in a court case. I’m sorry, I cannot give detailed information. I would like to know:

1. What size (blade length) knife do you normally carry?

2. What do you use your knife for?

3. At what age did you begin carrying a knife?

Thanx much for your help.

sal

1. I normally carry a 3.25"-3.75" folder.

2. I open a lot of packaging--boxes, blister packs, etc. as well as envelopes, stripping cat5 ethernet cable and other mundane things like that.

3. I've been carrying a regular pocketknife since I turned 18 but I had carried small keychain knives since around the 6th grade.

Good luck with the case, Sal.

I normally carry a 2.5 to 3 inch knife. I use the knife to open packages, cut nylon strapping material at work, cut my fruit into pieces, tighten loose screws with SAK. I started carrying when I was 8 years old. I am 50 now.
