New 2015 ZT lineup

That doesn't seem right. The 0900 has an MSRP of $240 and the 0450 has an MSRP of $200. How did they both end up with the same MAP ($192)?

Corrected 0450 MAP to $160.00!

Need to have an eye exam! :)

It feels like more than holes got filled. It feels as if ZT moved in a whole new direction, at least temporarily. Keep in mind that 4 out of their 5 new offerings weigh less than 5 ounces. When was the last time that happened?

I Know you love lighter weight. And I love longer blades. 0452CF is 4.1" and sub 5 ounces! And if you don't like longer blades, bam, 450! Same style, smaller, liter package! They are hitting on all cylinders with much of these new blades!

Of course we won't see them until next year at this time if we are lucky.

450 for me. Love the blade shape and the size. I wish it had a deep carry clip and maybe some CF or G10 though.

I like the 450 but hate the clip.... i really hope its not just screwed on top of the titanium and has a area it can sit it to prevent play

All really great offerings, I hope they are able to put them out sooner rather than later. At this prices and designs, the really high quality Chinese knives now have some competition.

I hope the 0450 weighs more than 2.9 oz, that seems absurdly light for a 3.25 inch titanium folder right? Hopefully it doesn't feel dainty in hand.

Anyone think the ZT Pen, 0010TI, seems like an incomplete render?

I'm glad my wife really loves me, this year is going to hurt financially with all of these new designs!

I'm in for the 0450. Knife Art's Instagram just posted a couple "live" pics from SHOT show of this one.

The new Zero Tolerance 2015 Catalog is available:

It's all about "boldness"!

"Boldness makes its own choices.

It has no truck with timidity.

Boldness is its own Magellan. It craves experience, lives life on its own terms, and seeks the company of like-minded adventurers. Boldness embraces the new. It refuses to fear what the world may say. Or think. Or dish out.

Boldness is resourceful. Boldness is practical. Boldness is strong. Boldness can be built like a tank. On the other hand, boldness can have the style of a gentleman. It would be something of an understatement to say that boldness has attitude. Boldness is decidedly alpha.

Boldness finds its ideal mate in authenticity. It values intense craftsmanship. It values advanced technology. Boldness knows that form matters, but that function matters more.

Boldness has zero tolerance for anything less than the very best."

I'm happy to see ZT expand the 454 lineup:thumbup: It's been killing me to see what the Russians have been selling overseas.

Kershaw Launch 1, ZT0630, ZT0900, and ZT0452 for me :)

I would love the smaller ZT0450 but the pocket clip is a turn off to an otherwise great knife.... why do the deep carry on the 452 but not the450?

The designs look stunning and really sleek, however. I wish they would introduce some sweet folder's that are not flippers and not S35VN. I dont like that steel and I dont care for flippers any more.
I really wanted to see something that opens manually with a thumbstud. But that is just me. I dont mind the Eclipse design, but I am positive I will not be able to afford that one.
Oh well.

We're starting to see a shift, I think, in the entire industry. Benchmade has done sleek/slender profiles (and therefore light in weight) for a long time, but they're apparently too big to bring a decent lineup of flippers to market...no surprise, since they're still making the 940 in the same color scheme they were 15 years ago. Kai, USA seems to be "just" right in terms of size...a big enough company for production to actually meet demand, yet small enough to listen to their customers, and then bring a well-executed production knife to market before it's being done by everyone.

The days of people getting excited about a 1/2 lb. pocket knife may be over. I hope, at least. :-)

It's not about "more clean, less billboard", it's just the overall design I don't like.

They all lack character IMO, they just remind me of simple knives. Which is fine, some people like that.
But when looking back at all of ZT's offerings, there is a HUGE difference in the look they were aiming for this year.

I guess when I think of ZT, I think of a well built, tough design with a very small dash of "tacticool" on top. I always imagined a ZT being used hard, outdoors, on a construction site, etc... These remind me of something a cubicle worker would pull out of his khakis to open a Splenda packet for his cappuccino...:barf:

And you'd be correct in thinking that -- that's actually ZT's "motto":

HARD-USE PREMIUM AND PROFESSIONAL KNIVES

Designed and manufactured to stand up to heavy-duty use, Zero Tolerance Knives are built of premium materials. The knives have earned a reputation among their devoted fans as being "built like a tank" or a "real beast" or even being—proudly—"overbuilt".
