I hope the 0450 weighs more than 2.9 oz, that seems absurdly light for a 3.25 inch titanium folder right? Hopefully it doesn't feel dainty in hand.
Blasphemy! Sacrilege! Off with his head!!!The days of people getting excited about a 1/2 lb. pocket knife may be over. I hope, at least.![]()
Hopefully because they got a steel more readily available that it means we will see them released soonerI love the steel choice and like many have said its probably what was available so they stockpiled it. I really like the 0450 and 0808 but ill own every single model. Im very excited about the pens this is something alot of ZT fans have wanted for sometime. I really love how they listen to the buyers, look at the sub 3in knife something else buyers have been asking for
I dont think CRK knives are worth the price much like other knives in that price realm.Unfortunately, my take on these designs is a big yawn. Everybody has their opinions and taste, but this was kind of a bummer. They are boring as a whole. S35VN? Instead of buying two of these, I'll buy one CRK and get a much higher build quality and a knife that will outlast my children. I wish ZT didn't depart so much from their roots with their newer designs. To each their own, I suppose.

If you don't like them then move along and let all of the other ZT fans enjoy them![]()
Very true, but if you don't have anything nice to say........Alternatively, as someone who owns and uses a few ZTs and has owned and re-sold several others, I could say my opinion on this forum where we discuss knives.![]()
We're starting to see a shift, I think, in the entire industry. Benchmade has done sleek/slender profiles (and therefore light in weight) for a long time, but they're apparently too big to bring a decent lineup of flippers to market...no surprise, since they're still making the 940 in the same color scheme they were 15 years ago. Kai, USA seems to be "just" right in terms of size...a big enough company for production to actually meet demand, yet small enough to listen to their customers, and then bring a well-executed production knife to market before it's being done by everyone.
