I feel like a kid at Christmas with this thing! I ended up changing things up after seeing how great jjweb's 4.7 looked. This is definitely nice and subtle just like the black and black combo. I almost went with the red linen though!

So many good options, can't go wrong! Between natural, black and red, you named my email favorites :)
 
Yeah the multiple options make it a pain, but I think I have them narrowed down to those colors now. Hopefully I can get an 8 down the road with the red linen and a coyote sheath.
 
I really hope so!
I had a roofer screw up a job, so now I'm way behind and the repair costs are coming out of my pocket. It's the price I have to pay for working with worthless people.
 
Wow, that really sucks! Sorry to hear about that. Hopefully things will get better soon. There's a slab of steel meant to be turned into a knife out there right now that needs you to buy it!

People like him give contractors a bad name. The homeowner is a prominent figure out here so that guy won't be doing anymore jobs in this county once she's done sharing her experience.
I really hope there's a hunk of steel with my name on it! I'd be even happier with a Factory 2nd or Ugly Betty 8. I wouldn't feel bad about beating on it.

You don't seem like a knife abuser to me. My 4.7 has only come in contact with wood (and arm hair) and I have to look to see that it is even used once I clean her up. Get out there and use 'em :D

Thanks Standard , I wanted to try the microtexuured G10 , which is grippy , but the microtextured canvas is grippier.
I like them both !!
 
Lucky enough to score a 4.7 Cru Forge factory 2nd Monday. Any idea on rough delivery times? Looks like it could be 2 weeks to 1.5 months even for in stock blades. Super excited to try it out!
 
I'm going on 52 days for my July 5 seconds order. Can't say I'm thrilled about that with the 15 day statement on the website and no revised estimate of shipping date after requesting one, just a general statement saying they should ship soon.
