I'd bet 2 trailhawk heads would fit in a VHS tape sized box. I seem to remember the shipping cost was reasonable for that size. You'd have to find your own hafts though. A plus for whomever sends them to you would be 2 hafts, I could be a win-win situation....just a thought
 
Not that I'd need one so bad. Got my trusty Fiskars here, still going strong. We really tortured it at the scout camp a few weeks ago, I'm talking sticking it into a crack in the side of an 8" log and pounding the pommel end with a huge Gränsfors splitting maul.
 
If I'm going to spend 22$ plus P&H right now it needs to be on one of those Dozier folders, not a tomahawk I'll never use. I'll have to live vicariously through you, Warrior.
 
for $22 each, free shipping, i got 3 cold steel torpedoes. they're a hoot. they stick WELL. for less money, their heavy throwie bowies are cute, and work well in some substrates.

wouldn't mind a set of 3-5 hawks, but they have to be the right ones, and would need some handles too :)

Here are a couple of Trailhawks that I modded last year. Complete with OD green paint jobs! I added some teeth to one and removed the hammer end on the other. The one with the hammer end cut off balances really well, it went from a good thrower to a GREAT thrower!! I also hand made the handle on that one.

It's burned, followed by a three day soak in Old English lemon oil to let moisture back into the grain.
 
I was thinking of doing something similar. I may just paint it black. haven't really decided what I'm going to do yet.
 
I saw that there as well. I think I read else where that they also put minwax over it.
 
Took my own advice and snagged a phat bob last night. That's five new Ka-Bars since I joined BF two months ago. Someone take my wallet away!
 
Oh, sorry, I just completed the online sale last night... won't have it until next week sometime, and won't be able to seriously use it until the weekend. If you've done a review or put photos up, post up the link (and if not, then get to it :) )

I'm a little OCD and I'm wondering if the cutout for the unused pocket clip position will bug me... it looks a little crappy in all the pictures I've seen. I'm guessing I may end up doing something about that once I've had it for a while.
