Looks like P400 or P600 (european grit) or so to me. Been working on my BK-2 all day with sandpaper. Pics later. Sitting in mustard right now.
Sweet glad it got there. If I remember correctly it should be wicked sharp, I duno. Putting in a box to you was the first time I handled it in months

Here is the progress on the burl so far. One side pretty much shaped down. Attached the other through the pin holes with wire from a coat hanger. Gonna make em even with the sanding drum on a dremel, then shape for comfort, then epoxy, and shape them one last time and poly them. Still lots of work but man r they gorgeous. Sorry for the crappy pic, best I could do running out the door
