Sweet glad it got there. If I remember correctly it should be wicked sharp, I duno. Putting in a box to you was the first time I handled it in months
 
Got a leather pocket sheath from KFU. Actual his sheath maker (duno his name) made it. Saw KFU include this with one of his customs so I inquired about getting the sheath only. It fits well, both the esky and in pocket

Looks like P400 or P600 (european grit) or so to me. Been working on my BK-2 all day with sandpaper. Pics later. Sitting in mustard right now.

It has a pretty decent edge on it......:thumbup:

My dad really likes the blade, might give it to him
 
Yeah, I noticed. I'm going for some crisscross lines all over the blade from the mustard, and then I'm going to darken it all up quite a bit with vinegar.

I once made a "tactical" looking Opinel, put the blade into boiling hot vinegar and let it sit over night, it went completely black. The knife was horrible and not worth showing though :D

Here is the progress on the burl so far. One side pretty much shaped down. Attached the other through the pin holes with wire from a coat hanger. Gonna make em even with the sanding drum on a dremel, then shape for comfort, then epoxy, and shape them one last time and poly them. Still lots of work but man r they gorgeous. Sorry for the crappy pic, best I could do running out the door

Thanks im hoping that it comes out ok. Any tips from you guys for epoxy and pinning scales? Kinda flying by the seat of my pants with only online how tos to go off of.
