New Dual Survival Personality is no Longer a secret

Joe Teti is a moron. He told Cody he was losing water through his feet from the salt on the ground as rebuttal to Cody's advice not to drink his own piss. That is utterly...stupendously....massively....MORONIC. God better be on our side in the war on terror if the guys we got fighting for us ain't any smarter than Joe Teti.

Good gosh, LOL:eek::D

Yea gads! I guess you didn't read my post about Cody in this thread. Perhaps if you read it...

Exactly which of the NINE pages of your Bromance with Cody was I supposed to pay attention to? Twelve posts on the Forums....ALL of them about the TV Show?

It's a TV SHOW. IT'S NOT REAL.

I think you've been reading a little too much Jean Paul Sartre, you are sounding really nihilistic. In any event since it seems you have not read my posts about Cody and yet are convinced that I am a fan of his. Maybe you will read it here below, since I took all the trouble to go to page five, copy and paste it for you here:

Best analysis of the situation I have read anywhere! I am sure you are right. It was Cody's show from the start, he was doing stuff for Discovery long before Dual Survivor, he actually had a piolt or two about coaching a group of survivors that didn't go anywhere and did guest spots like "digging for truth". Combine that with the fact that his politics were correct and he spouts the enlightened conservation agenda that show producers hold dear with their liberal buddies at cocktail parties. He couldn't take being shown up time and again. There is a video on youtube called Cody Lundin Jungle party, it is very revealing, it shows him taking questions in a school in his hometown after the completion of the first season of Dual, the audience kept asking him about Dave and you can see his ego being brusied. At one point he tells them to "get rid of this kid" because the young boy asked him another question about Dave, you can hear gasps of astonishment from the audience that he would dismiss the young kid like that. Cody's blog comments are very disparging about Dave , as well as his remarks in the interview videos about his new partner and the thinly veiled allusions to his former partner's dishonesty. Those comments he has made about Dave since Dave was fired make me think he had a large coercive role in getting Dave fired. Probably giving Discovery a passive agressive ultimatum in the form of walking out if Dave stays. "

Thirteen posts about Cody.

I don't know what this means. But if you read what I cut and paste into my last post, it must be clear to you that I am not a fan of Cody Lundin. As to the issue of your obsession with nihilistic thoughts, that is just on you. I must be off now, I have many fortune cookies to stuff with sage words of wisdom. Chop chop, no ticky no shirty!

I doubt Joe will be given the freedom to call the "star" a hippie this season.
I know, he called him Edith intsead :D

As you probably know if you read my posts, I am not a Cody L fan and I wouldn't choose a Mora either. His approach is and has been geared toward the semi-arid to arid southwest which he applies worldwide in any environment as a personal statement of his "expertness". I think its kind of a joke, but I have to temper my beliefs with the fact that this is a TV show with a crew present all or most of the time should something happen. I doubt they even spend the night in the "shelters" they build or develop. I have no idea if I would like Cody as a person.

What knife does he carry?

Q: What kind of knife do you carry on the show?
A: I teamed up with one of the finest knife makers in the world, TOP’s, and designed my own knife. It’s called the SURV TAC 7. 100% made in the USA. It’s a combination survival / tactical knife. I have pictures of it on this web site. I will be offering a Limited Edition series of my knife on my web site soon. Working out the details with TOP’s as we speak.

From the Joe Teti website.

$295 plus shipping, only sold on his web site. Warranty void if thrown.

naw

no warranty and 300 bux.i will stick with esse or becker.

It has a lifetime warranty to the original owner (with proof of purchase), but excludes damage from being thrown. I saw no mention of batooning but the sawback makes that unlikely. I did notice his adoption of the Busse trademarked foreward lanyard hole.

One of the more stupid knives if have seen lately.
And the price is way beyond what Tops normally charges for a comparable piece.
Does it tell me something that the guy is having a knife of his own design so quickly, in time with the show opening ?
I hope we will see him "use" those sawteeth on screen.
Staying with the main topic of this forum, I liked DC´s BHK waaaaay better.

Every celebrity survivalist has to have his own product line to capitalize on his fame. The knives are usually the first products to appear. Some do books first or second. Then classes or seminars. Maybe clothing lines. Maybe the networks promote it or require it to boost ratings and viewership or add some street cred for their actors. Or maybe they all want to be Tom Brown Junior.
