Love the blue ano, regular stonewash combo!! Very nice!! Congrats on the beautiful knife!

So, my knife never showed up (Day 4 since "expected delivery") but some new clothes for my XM-24 did. OD green and bronze ano standoffs. :D

Ahh yes. Been there. Done that.
I always used to try and time that and was always wrong.
I know what it feels like.
Monday will be better than a
Normal Monday now.
 
I just got my steel flame goodies in today and put them on my first and only hinderer! If you can't tell, I've got a thing for skulls.

 
Kewl stuff CRG... Love the darkness stuff. Wishing I had grabbed a clip when they were in stock a few weeks ago!
 
And the USPS finally comes through!!! Come to find out the delay was my fault. Gave em my work address with my home zip code so no complaints on the delay. Glad they finally showed up :)

Hey fellas, especially those with experience with Pond scales - is this Pond?

I traded for it sight unseen, and I don't doubt that the person I traded with believes it is Pond - but it just doesn't have the cool green highlights on the raised surface of the scale texture.. At all. The backing of the scale is green and it bleeds through just a bit in the handle choil area, but that's it, it is otherwise a fairly solid, "scummy" dull yellow color. So, I guess it could be pond given variations in the material but if it is I'm slightly disappointed since I was looking forward to finding one with the cool green highlights..

I think I still like this scale, it's just not what I was expecting/picturing - especially after browsing the pics of pond scales in the forum.. Has anyone seen this particular shade of pond, or similar?
 
Just got this wharnie in today. Awesome blade! I wasnt sure how I was going to like it but it has really impressed me. Definetely my new EDC. Im loving the green/black scale, and of course I had to do the steel flame crusader cross and darkness skull. I suggest trying a wharnie out if you are on the fence.

^^^ VERY Nice! I think you're going to find the wharnie in your pocket more often than not. I like the green-black, it looks sharp! (No pun intended...) Congrats, thanks for putting up the pics!
