Thanks y'all! I'm definitely excited. I've been lusting after one for a long time. I think I sort of lucked into the perfect size and grind for a first. It's a nice bonus that the scales are pretty cool too. I don't know as much about cts-Xhp, but I'm sure it's top notch if it's from the ranch. I can't wait to play with it. The only Hinderer I ever handled was a 3", which despite being too small, was more than enough to entice me. I can only imagine how great it'll be.
 
Thanks! I keep checking the same pictures I have over and over like a kid looking at the toys r us magazine before Christmas. I have another pretty interesting knife coming in from a separate trade (part of what I had originally planned to use in trade for my first). Now the question is do I keep it (its a Case / Bose Millennium Trapper) as a novelty and toy or sell it to accessorize the incoming Hinderer and pay myself back the cash I'm out of pocket. Hmmm...

P.S. after months and months I finally decided to get unlazy and choose an avatar. It's unfair that I use avatars to recognize everyone else and I've been too lazy to put one up- it isn't like I'm disappearing into the night.

Man I love this knife! Always had a thing for Wharncliffes. And it's already drawn blood from me, so now we are bonded:D

Hey brightb - just noticed that the Hinderer logo looks same color as the translucent green scale, nice! :thumbup:
