New/Recent Hinderer Scores Thread...a place to share and comment.

I'm not a big bead guy, but I agree that's a cool setup!

By any chance did you go to USC?

I hope to see some TKI stuff pop up in here in the near future. Good luck to those fortunate enough to attend.

Just scored a 3.5" slicer with a blue scale. I'd take a photo, but I'm in a Deployment unfriendly zone ...but I just had to post because of overjoyment!

This is my third Hinderer blade, behind a Spanto 18 and 24. It's going to be a user for sure! JOY!

didn't they call the yellowish scale "Baby Puke"? I remember seeing that for sale a while back.....

Congrats Ghostmeat! I love my slicer. It is truly a jack of all trades sort of grind. Very useful as an edc blade.

Thanks to the kindness of one of our members here giving me first shot at one after noticing my posts, I should be getting a textured CF scale soon! It's weird I never used to be a huge fan of CF, but there is something about it and I'm excited to finally get some for my XM.

you will love that scale NJ, it's what took the pond scum of my XM, it's kind of the scum remover........

There is nothing quite like a textured CF scale for looks and usability. Except maybe a textured ti scale;)

Just trying to return the love that's been shown to me, brother. You're going to love it! Now all you need is some blue Ti hardware and you're set!

Thanks for hooking me up prelude  you're exactly right- I just need some blue/bronze/copper hardware to finish my xm's dress clothes up!

Textured C/F is a winner. Any of the Hinderer textured grip is my preference. Smooth C/F and Ti can and do often look great...like on the new TKI customs and many knives you guys have recently posted; but my preference is textured scales.

I've been patiently waiting for a Smooth CF scale but this one popped up on the Exchange last week and bought knowing I could probably sell or trade if necessary. Black colored scales aren't my first choice but the CF color is sharp looking and grippy as hell. I don't see myself parting with it. I agree with prelude92.....Blue HW compliments that setup well. As I drive I usually find myself blindly flipping the knife in my right hand. Now I spend half the time checking out how sweet it looks. Especially love the blue standoffs with the CF color. Took this yesterday at one of those moments.

I do love the blue hardware! My only worry with it is that my XM has a blue ano clip and it is super worn (which I like). I don't know how it would look with very different looking blues- especially since I'm not 100% that the blue ano on my clip is from the ranch since I bought the knife used. I have some ideas of what I want to do, but not all that sure yet.

Edit:
My top contender is switching all the hardware to bronze, buying the steel flame horse head clip, and finding a filler tab that'll look ok. The biggest issues are steel flame stuff is expensive and I can't decide if it is worth it and I have no idea how I'd find a matching filler tab.

I had to double check my pocket to make sure you didn't sneak in and take mine:D Great taste!!

Full stonewashed ti scale incoming! Plus every type of hinderer standoff. It will be fun to mix and match.
Edit: whoops, thought this was the anticipation thread, my bad.
