I see that those pics of the odd jigged TC's were removed from the progress pics on GEC's website. All they show now are the Peachseed jigged bone (which is much better IMO).

I agree and have experienced the same view when working with wood . But be careful I can hear the purist and naturalist coming on the defense wagon 😆I have an unfortunate allergy to Beer. So, no interest in the beer scouts. But my opinion on the wood is: it looks like glue. Throughout all the woodworking I've done, if you accidentally get glue on the bare wood and then seal or finish it, it looks lie these spots we're seeing. Just my opinion.
