Now that's funny, fell out of my chair laughing! I got the good news yesterday from KC. Thought it was another, "we're still waiting for your backordered item..." email - but no, should be here soon. BTW, I ordered Sept 22.

KC must have gotten their shipment first, and a large one at that. I preordered from KW on 7/2 and haven't seen or heard anything yet.
 
Got mine yesterday, not impressed. Very fragile feel to it. Nothing like
the 0301 or an SMF. Guess I was expecting more because of all the hype.

Thinking I might be selling it...

I got that mail several times.
 
I assume the space between the blade tang and the Ti scale at the pivot is wider than on the G10 side by design. Mine works flawlessly but the space between the tang and Ti at the pivot is a smidgeon wider than on the Ti side. I assume this is normal for KVT.

Fragile? Really? What knife are you holding? Certainly not the 560. What parts have a "fragile feel"?

Are you talking about the space between the sides of the handles and the tang??

Well I wasn't on a pre-order list and wasn't planning on buying an 0560. The whole reason I made the jump over to Kershaw was to get away from the real $$ knives. But then... there was one available. I was like "well I can always flip it." Got it in the mail from House of Blades. Not the best deal, MSRP (with a free leek to sweeten the deal), but I don't think it was horrible.

I know it's kind of odd to throw in a leatherman, but it's my work EDC, had it on me.
 
561 came today from KW
Good news is the jimping on this one is not as harsh as 560 that I quickly released. This one is #133 so I'm sure it was still too early to have been one of the more smoothed ones, so that 560 I think may have been a fluke
It also seems a bit smoother than that 560 on opening.
Bad news and I don't hold this against any company cause it happens, but this one was pretty dull. Touched it up and its fine, but I think I have had a dull one from every company, so no biggie.
This one may stay off the exchange.
Much more what I expected.

Kind of like aluminum alloy and polymer framed pistols? Lighter so they must be more fragile? Right! Personally, I think I will take the lighter knife for carry any day. But then I don't know any better in regards to knives. :)
 
yes and yours looks like mine so that's good :) It seems like the gap between the Ti and the tang at the pivot is a tad wider than the gap between the Tang and the G10 side of the knife at the pivot. It seems that is normal :)

I'm not the only one who thought the same thing.
I'm not saying it is fragile, it just appears that way when compared to other ZT tanks.
For all I know, it is much tougher than ZT's other offerings.
I don't think people like yerscattergun or me are bashing on it, it is just a personal preference for a solid feeling hunk of steel.
