This is actually perfect timing, I've been searching for a good folder to send to my buddy out in A.stan. I think this will fit the bill nicely.
 
Hey, has anyone seen the latest issue of Tactical Knives? I just looked at it quickly in a store, but I could have sworn I saw a tiny Ad for a "ZT 0500 designed by Rick Hinderer." but the picture resembled the 0550/0551, not the current MUDD. Check it out. Maybe I'm going blind in my old age.

I'm on the waiting list, but will be checking out my local knife shop to see if they get any. Thing is, it's a pretty crappy store, so I'm not holding my breath. To all you guys that will be fondling them soon, enjoy 'em! I'm sure it will have been worth the wait.
 
I think it will be after Thanksgiving before it gets in our hands.....hope not, but it looks that way..
 
Moving quickly along in assembly now. The first run should be done up by tomorrow/Monday, heads for a quick laser job, and then off to packaging. Shipping mid next week for sure.

Thomas, love those picks from the factory floor. Looks like each assembler has some freedom to set up their own system to manage the parts needed to assemble the knives.:thumbup:

No shots of the G-10 scale. Are we in for a surprise?:D

I wish I'd have seen pictures of this sooner... what's the price? I don't suppose there's any hope for getting a hold of one of these anymore is there

Sounds awesome... thomas would you mind taking a photo of a completed one when you get the chance? (Not that you wouldn't, but... extra motivation maybe?)
