I was thinking that too. If the tracking info says that it was shipped out when nightstalker says it was, then i would tend to think that this as a USPS delay and poorly executed communication on his part since he has made a few trades with other members and myself with the contents in the box as described.

And Gizler00, I appreciate the offer but dont worry about it, money is the last thing i care about right now.

Get to know the personalities behind the screen names before you trade a $1000 knife with a guy who really has no history here....

The exchange is wonderful, but without understanding the community, it's also dangerous.

I only posted that because I would like to see that guy follow this through to the END like he should have in the first place.

Putting a knife in a box and shipping it is not the end...

Funny you say that, I just sent you a box of "Easter peeps" in the last trade we just made....

Seriously though, I am in for a donation as well if it comes to that.

I really appreicate the offers for donations, but I should be good to go. One of 2 things I'm thinking should happen.
1) nightstalkers package gets to Mappetizer my knife goes to nightstalker - everything zen in the world of bladeforums
2) I intercept my knife and have it sent back to me, I pay mappiteizer for his SMF so he can buy whatever he wants and i will try and resell the knife i traded for.
 
This might work out for all parties. Nightstalker needs to start making some moves showing he has done what he said he has though.
 
Hopefully that is the case. Its been about an hour since I emailed nightstalker, and I'm about to put in the request to have the package intercepted. I understand that 8:30pm my time (right now for me) is 11:30pm his time, so I guessing he's asleep or something, but as far as my part goes I'd rather play it safe than sorry and reship nightstalker the knife if things go good on Mappetizer and his deal.
 
Screw Nightstalker and intercept the package already before this gets any worse. Based on his only response, he appears to be in the wrong so let him wait for the final outcome. Leave him on the short end for right now...

That's very cool... It's a crappy situation, and others shouldn't have to financially cover the actions of others, but it is still very admirable :thumbup:
