How did this deal take place Mappetizer since neither of you have the capability to create a trade thread? Was it somewhere besides BF?

ADDENDUM (since now I read through the entire thread): You can't control USPS but you can control what you do with someone elses property in the intervening period. That knife you sent to Undefeatable that was NOT YOURS TO TRADE. Get it? I don't know whether you outright stole the OPs knife but I do know you flipped it as fast as humanly possible without regard for whether he got his end or not. That's why you're getting $h!t on here.

My suggestion is the OP post up your name, address, etc. and you be permabanned.

This thread should be added to the "How NOT to trade" sticky.

I will certainly take this advice.
Let's say he really did ship it, why won't he give up the tracking number.
 
With a knife valued at this level I would think the Local Police might show an interest. In most States this is a Felony level theft and one would hope the locals view felony level crimes seriously.
Try calling the Police, it does not cost anything and explain what is happening. All the other guy had to do was post a tracking number and the minute he said "his wife" took it to the Post Office and now cannot locate the tracking number I heard the ducks quacking in the background.
I don't know what States are involved my State calls this "Theft" and if the knife is worth a cent more than a grand it's a Class "A" felony and failure of the Police to properly investigate is bad, bad business.

Get some calls made early to those numbers I sent you. The key is get the word out before that carrier delivers the goods. If you can get to or call your local post office asap and tell them what's going on. Start a claim (under the HELP tab) Call 1800 ask USPS.
The squeaky wheel gets the grease in this case! Make some noise.

Under the rules you can't leave any feedback since there was no completed transaction....that's kinda the irony here.....

wow, not the reaction one would expect from an honest issue. i hope for the op all works out.

I've had about 20ish good trades on Instagram, what I've learned is to always ask for references and follow up on them.And don't jump on a deal right away, take a few days to research the people you trade with.

Monofletch was able to have the package stopped and should be sent back to me.
If Mappetizer doesnt receive his end of this whole trade agreement between him and nightstalker, then I will pay him whatever asking price he seems fit for the SMF.
If Mappetizer does get the package and everything looks good, then I will express the knife back to nightstalker via Express USPS to make sure he is happy asap.

Shoutout to Monofletch for being an awesome member and helping out so much.

Well done! It's great to see how so many will come to the aid of a BF member when things like this happen. Hopefully everything works out in the end.
