And man........... What's the deal on that IZULA folder? They introduced that at last years shot show and I haven't heard anything since? That's a folder I'd buy.

They came out with that Zanduco or what ever its called?

I prefer to buy from local stores as well. Unfortunately, no store around Austin carries Beckers and only a couple carry a limited selection of Kabars. (Exceptions - sometimes they show up used in gun stores and pawn shops.) Occasionally, Cabela's carries a BK16 or 2, but that's it. So I have to use online shopping or scarf them off of fleabay to get them.

Not sure wtf is going on. I tried the first posting, with 40 photos, which I do all the time, and it wouldn't let me. So, I tried posting 22 photos, and it let me. So I went to post another 22 on the next post, and it wouldn't let me again. I can't figure it out. Have never had this happen before. This forum is screwy anyways, but never this bad.
 
Are you using photo bucket? I don't think it matters since thats just links really? I thought the amount of pictures was only limited if you uploaded them to the forum?

I dunno, pissing me off though. I wondered if something I had in the first 40 photos corrupted or something. Who the hell knows.
 
There used to be a limit on photos. When I went red, it no longer seemed to apply, so I haven't paid as much attention.

they use the same scales -- but the 3 is made from thinner steel, so the grip is flatter -- enough so that it was uncomfortable for me to use.

Yea, I hate how flat the scales are on my 4. Wonder how much some custom scales would change the feel.

I have seen the zancudo, it's a Blue Ridge Knife that is a design from the Esee boys. Personally, I wouldn't get it. I've held it and it just felt... Cheap. The Izula folder supposedly is going to come out in 2018... SUPPOSEDLY.

I been thinking about getting some liners for one of my 3s and then shaping the scales a bit... I just don't know if I trust myself that much. But it's a good idea, to me.
 
at the very least the ESEE 3 scales need liners. The TKC G10 scales are supposed to help some, too.
If you go the TKC route, get the scales for the 4 and add 1/32" (.0312") liners to make up the difference in spacer thickness at the butt of the handle.
 
Well, Sunday was a pretty good day. No kids for most of the day, wife and I finally made it out to see "Lone Survivor", excellent movie. Then off to the local Flander Fountain to spend some gift cards. Starbucks all day, must've had 3 or 4, also bought my daughter's birthday present for next week.
 
Nice! I went and shot some pool with some friends. They had a dart board in the corner also so we were throwing darts too. Had some fun. Making me want to get a dart board, but I don't think I have the patience to keep patching the holes in the wall.
 
So where do we sign up for the Becker East Spring Gathering??

But seriously, I would love to go to one of those Gatherings, but they are always so far away. Anyone from Texas going, let me know and we can drive together.
 
I'm hoping the Becker East gathering is in EAST Texas. :D Should be too far of a drive from all those little north east Texas counties... Connecticut County, Rhode Island County, New Hampshire County.... :D:D
 
This title was actually me snarking. I have no idea who has been changing it so much. I've been putting it back to the original each time (No snarky title) which apparently wasn't good enough for Guyon (at first, since then no clue who all it's been)
 
Please change the title to something more appropriate.
