Those are pretty awesome. Been looking at some tritium to hang off the back of my backpack.

Thanks man, If you get tritium id suggest get green. It glows great in the dark. None of the other colors are as bright. Can you guys buy tritium in australia? or do you have to order from another country too?

those look awesome! cery nice indeed!

Thanks man!! I really like em, but im going to have to start hiding them from the wife. She doesnt mind me getting knives anymore, but whenever she see a bead that i paid 30-70 bucks on i get the meanest look LMAO

Mr. Rodgers said it best: Wont you be my neighbor?

If there's a vacancy in the neighborhood, I'll be sure to let you know. I warn you though, sometimes I have BBQ's and fires out back, and chop on stuff with knives and 'hawks and whatnot... so if that sort of thing offends you... never mind... :D

Rush? Slayer..?

I definitely have to agree on Rush. Don't get me started on Slayer... the interpersonal weirdness over the last couple years has really left a bad taste in my mouth. Which is a shame... I was never a particularly huge Slayer fan (always liked and respected 'em, but never carved their logo into my arm or anything) until I saw 'em live (twice)... good gravy, they put on one heckuva show both times. RIP Jeff Hanneman.

Never been to the factory, but I'm roughly 45 minutes from the LODGE outlet store in Sevierville... so nanner-nanner boo-boo :p

I don't know about the webs and funny smells, but you probably should have taken the grill out from under the mattress.

I love climbing, at my peak I could do almost any 5.11 you pointed to (indoor, about a 5.9 outdoor).
My forearms are going to feel it, but it shouldn't be too bad.

Nice to hear you're getting back into it. We're just about to start a new training cycle. Hoping to get fit enough to bag some projects this season. We'll likely head down to Tennessee in March for some bouldering and then out to Ten Sleep Wyoming for some sport climbing in the summer. Do you have any trips planned?

Im upset that the 1st falls on a Saturday. Im just impatient LMAO. I want to buy something, but because im going to order it when i get paid on the first it wont ship until monday. Then i wont get it until Wed-Thurs. I wish more people did COD. I dont have a regular local bank and i normally have to add money on to a prepaid credit card to make most my online orders but thats time consuming. I wish i could just order what i want and pay cash when it arrives.

Just got back from walking one of the dogs - man it's cold out there. -18 C but it feels like -30 C with the wind. Dogs don't even seem to notice. Need a cup of coffee.

Good grief man, talk about "First World Problems". A whole 3 DAYS to a WEEK to get something you merely want to buy? My deepest sympathies

:p

Man thats just crazy. I just checked the weather in Alaska. around 36-40 degrees right now. But on my porch in philly its 12 degrees F. Something seems wrong with that.

what kind of fuel?

if oil. water in lines? frozen lines? whut.

Natural gas. I cleaned the ice off my chimney yesterday and so far it has been working fine. I'm going to keep an eye on it.

In other news, with all this cold I'm starting to really want to make a big pot of chili or maybe some beef stew.

Oh yea this is just a want, and its still a serious problem. Do you know how long 3 days is? :p

Last I checked, it was 72 hours...but I could be wrong...I've only had one cup of coffee so far.

Good morning, 'heads, by the way!!

My dog is kinda a sissy in this cold. When we take her outto do her business she will start limping around because her paws are getting cold. We actually have little boots that we put on her when it is below zero.

I like my cast-iron. Let me say that again.....like. I don't think I would drive 900 miles for cookware. But I'd drive anywhere for sharpened steel. :D

It was about 4-5 hours of driving per day (FRI-SAT-SUN) 435 miles one way. It was fun, had lunch in Lynchburg, TN. and got to visit the Jack Daniels visitor's center...did not have time for the tour but I have done that before. Ate at the Iron Kettle. Good eats.

They have several other outlets in TN and one in GA (for the fellow in SC one of these may be closer to you). The factory outlet in Pittsburg is a stones throw from the factory. The factory does not have tours except during the Cornbread Festival which is a pretty big deal down in Pittsburg.

Our new pup Sophie doesnt seem to mind the cold as much as we do. It kinda sucks right now because she being so young when you let her out all she wants to do is play instead of doing her business, which sucks for both of us because we have to stand there in the cold and her play time gets cut short. Sure will be looking to forward to warmer weather so we can get her out on the trails and wear her out.
