I wanted to like my Colt Government .45, o_O maybe another caliber would suit me better. I came close to making an offer on a Springfield Armory 1911 in 9mm, but the guy didn't answer my messages. Some other time perhaps.

The Dodge Journey I purchased is Charcoal grey. It has silver hubcaps. Thinking of painting them black. I used GIMP to get an idea of what they would look like.

Blacked in. I like it, and think it would go good with the charcoal grey. Thinking about painting the chrome grill black as well:

Try the hubcaps first. If you like them, go for the grill. If you don't, they are a lot cheaper to replace.

How's everyone holding up? Starting to get a bit stir crazy up here. Pretty much everything is closed and they are urging folks to stay indoors. I was all fired up to develop a new local climbing area, but it's located on conservation (park) land and they've closed that off as well. Pretty much leaves me with plenty of time for indulging in craft beers (breweries and the liquor stores are still open!), sewing and playing PS4.

Hey, Gus, glad you guys are ok up there. Toronto, right?

Good down here in country-lite, but bracketed by two hotspots of Boston and New York...
PLENTY to do, but getting a little lonely without even a cat anymore.

good to hear from you!
our breweries and liquor stores are curbside delivery only currently.
parks are still open -- but no co-mingling.

Hey stranger, good to see you back around.

Hey D,

We've moved just outside of Toronto (Hamilton, ON), but Christine is still working in the city at the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC), which is the third-largest transit agency in North America after New York and Mexico City. She's part of the team leading the charge against the COVID-19 pandemic. Entertaining times!

Curbside and delivery here as well. The provincial liquor stores allow you to enter, but are limiting the number of folks in the store. You line up outside (six feet apart) and as one person exits the store, another is allowed to enter. It's pretty surreal!

Hey stranger, good to see you back around.

Got sidetracked with work and life! Things have settled down a bit now.

I like it.

After driving around in a white car for the past decade, my next car is going to be all murdered out, black everything.

Now I’m just waiting for the car to come out. Either going to do the new Caddy ct4 or ct5. I’m sure they’ll be delayed further because of the current emergency. That’s ok.

Here's a link to a charcoal grey Journey, that the guy painted his wheels black, and if you scroll down a bit, his grill. Gives me an idea of what mine would look like: https://www.dodgejourneyforum.com/topic/9197-black-rims/
