You know the rules.............

No, I am not posting pictures. And stop PM'ing me for them.

We're looking at a high of -10 F tomorrow.... Hoth cold.

I recommend finding a tauntaun that you can cut open when it gets really bad.

Or you could do like Murph and get the tauntaun sleeping gear. Note the lifelike intestinal design on the inner lining.

Suitable for semi-formal occasions as well.

Does anywhere sell cheap, really small, not yet heat treated pieces of steel?

Shoot me an email with your addy, I'm sure I have a scrap to send you. I'll be mailing some other stuff out today or tomorrow any way.

James, how do you like your Browning comp ? I have looked at that one a few times, but I havent been thrilled with some Gun companies forays into knives.

I like it very much! As I said, the handle is on the blocky side, but that's easy to fix. The steel/HT and geometry is outstanding, and the fully tapered blade and tang help it balance really well. It was designed by two ABS mastersmiths, who between them won 3 of the first 4 official BladeSports cutting comps, or something like that. The sheath is excellent, as well.

High praise from a knife maker. Thanks man. For the price it just seemed like a good knife, but like I said, I have been a bit gun shy of Gunmakers knives.

What if it also included a spark-scraper, screwdriver/prybar, and was made of the same heat-treated steel as your custom knife?

;)

and it's a corkscrew too.

And a toothpick and some tweezers...and red handles!!! It would be awesome!

High tomorrow has been revised to 7 Fahrenheit. I'm currently coating my body in spray foam for insulation. Think this'll come off my testicles easily?

I think Derek did a tutorial on it.

If it was made in America instead of Taiwan, I'm pretty sure it would be a $250-300 knife. Put it this way, I wouldn't be able to make one for any less than that.

Thanks man :D Pm coming up!!

No problem. For future reference, Emails are better though... dang pm box fills up too fast.

Made in Switzerland! With a cool cross logo... dang man, I think you're really onto something there... :D

Talk about low-drag... I'm smooth as a dolphin from the neck down. Chicks dig it.

Gotcha, Ill use email next time. And i agree PMs run out QUICK!! I started downloading them in text format to the computer so i can erase them without worrying.

Thanks again man!

Some A2 1/8" knives I've been working on. Bottom one had gimping across the back, its a Skinner. Gonna get some cocobolo handles wit SS tubes.

Anybody into them paranormal activity movies? The most recent movie is a trip, kinda puts all the movies together, and explains the 1st movies ending

Snowing here too, but not really that hard. I don't think we're gonna get near what they predicted.

There's about 5" on the ground right now.

The plow went by at like 4:30 this morning and I thought there was an earthquake or something.

Scared the shit out of me.:D

More USPS fun! I ordered a Zancudo (ESEE folder) which shipped on the 2nd. Was supposed to be here yesterday, 2-day Priority.
It's currently in Opa Locka, Florida (basically Miami). USPS must route them through south Florida for additional heat treating. Smart.
Got three days worth of mail yesterday. Apparently my steel was getting cryogenically treated, right here at the PO.

No, but at least you won't need that fur jockstrap anymore. Make sure to use a toilet paper roll to cover up your willy before you spray, though.
