No, I am not posting pictures. And stop PM'ing me for them.

I recommend finding a tauntaun that you can cut open when it gets really bad.

Or you could do like Murph and get the tauntaun sleeping gear. Note the lifelike intestinal design on the inner lining.

Paired with a Storm trooper hoodie and a "lightsaber" warmer it's the best sleep out there.

it's brisk here today.
driving back from Branson in the snow last night was "interesting"...
stopped at an outlet mall down there and picked up a meat grinder attachment for my kitchen aid -- deer hunt this weekend.

Looking good, If you check out the performance take PICTURES :D

The small one is looking great too. I really enjoy watching the progress. And your doing a great job on it. Its awesome to see something i drew on paper coming to life. Thanks Crimson :)

3V :D Its going to be one tough cookie :)

Yup, CPM 3V (one of my favorite steels). And pictures? Definitely. I was thinking about video though.

Bocote handle scales, epoxied and pinned, naturally, except the smaller one, which will have removable scales, as per request.

Glad you made it home safe. I bet that was a hell of a drive.

May I ask what (ish) that set you back? We're in the market for one as well.

you can find the meat grinder lots of places around $50.
I picked up the 3-tool set with grinder, shredder/grater, and food mill for making tomato sauce & pumpkin butter for $104.
cheapest I'd seen it up to then was $130.

Well good afternoon folks. Spent all of yesterday on a ladder/my roof slinging chainsaws. Have a couple trees that have grown a bit big for the house so had to do some considerable "trimming." Had my brother in law down to help, even though its hard work ended up getting to run saws, use beckers to split up the logs, then used the kindling to grill a couple rib eyes, t bones, asparagus, and potatoes. Of course had to wash everything down with some Sam Adams Boston Ale, SA 48th parallel IPA, and some JB Red Stag Sweet Honey Tea (Not big on sweet booze, but this stuff is actually really great). So all in all, chainsaws, danger, wood, Beckers, fire, steaks, cigars, beer, whiskey, and good company. I would say that yesterday was a damn fine day.

We got somewhere around 7-10 inches here of snow (so far) still supposed to be coming down for a while. So happy to have a PROPER winter storm come through St. Louis. I went out earlier and played in the snow, SO MUCH FUN!

I'm going to TRY getting out today and doing something in the snow, maybe try a snow shelter.

Been snowing here for a while now. I'd say we have about 8-10 inches in some spots. The roads suck real bad though.

A fine day indeed.

Murph, I got a head start on this cold snap that's coming through.

That sounds good Vik. I made a big pot of leek, onion, and garlic soup not long ago. Ate on it for days.
Man, with a big slice of sharp cheddar melted on top, it was sublime.

More USPS fun! I ordered a Zancudo (ESEE folder) which shipped on the 2nd. Was supposed to be here yesterday, 2-day Priority.
It's currently in Opa Locka, Florida (basically Miami). USPS must route them through south Florida for additional heat treating. Smart.

Bad on USPS. I mailed some stuff to Colorado that was supposed to be delivered Saturday and it wasn't. Apparently that whole spiel about "rain, snow, dark of night, etc" doesn't hold true anymore.

I got my wife a Zancudo for Christmas. It is her first pocket knife, and she loves it. Now I need to buy a few more.... :D

They really are the swiss army knife of animals. Mode of transportation for day, portable emergency shelter for night. Kind of like having your very own tradewater.

We need a skills and information thread on properly using a BK9 to slice open a tauntaun to build an emergency shelter. Some of the new members may appreciate the tutorial.

What temperature is the inside of a Tauntaun ? ..............

LUKE Warm ..... HA !

High tomorrow has been revised to 7 Fahrenheit. I'm currently coating my body in spray foam for insulation. Think this'll come off my testicles easily?

I was gonna suggest shaving first.

That depends... would you rather shave your short curlies first, or pull it all out later?

Like I said...otherwise....ouch!

Considering how tiny they are, shouldn't be a problem. ;)

LMAO. :D

Ouch again!

Thanks. That may be the best thread I've ever seen in Razors, Scissors, & Personal Grooming.

I prefer the term "low drag."

Does sound like a good thread.

Not buying low drag...unless you mean drag in a different sense of the word (not meaning streamlined).

Talk about low-drag... I'm smooth as a dolphin from the neck down. Chicks dig it.

Too much information.

Fan of the Brozilian?

Ditto.

Some knowledge is a good thing.

Got three days worth of mail yesterday. Apparently my steel was getting cryogenically treated, right here at the PO.

No, but at least you won't need that fur jockstrap anymore. Make sure to use a toilet paper roll to cover up your willy before you spray, though.

Good suggestion. Unless the drag is so low that a 35mm film can would work...
