That's cool (I mean hot!).
And good work on the bedrooms.

You can distribute hot air with fans, but also turn up the thermostat when you're running the woodstove so the furnace still comes on occasionally - just enough to take the bite out of the far reaches of the house.

My dream is to run a loop of the circulated hot water circuit behind the woodstove so it keeps the baseboard radiators humming along all around the perimeter of the 1st floor.

Set the fan on your hvac system to ON instead of auto if your using a wood stove or something else like it. The fan will keep all the air moving and keep the house much more evenly heated.

Just for a second :D

That's all it takes

Maybe you should mark your knives like Claymore mines...

:p

Incidentally, while looking for that image I found couple places that sell replica (non-go-boom) claymores... I need a few of those for my yard and shop...

I know I am never going to ask you for pics again

See, sometimes ignorance really is bliss...and easier to forget.

Yeah I know, but I was trying to do a whole bunch of things at once and didn't get a chance. I had to keep my eye on the snake because the catcher was already on the way, and if you call them out and they don't find it they still charge you.

You have to pay? Get a .22 it'd be cheaper.

Would be cool to see a similar video of one of you guys doing a knife from start to finish...

that would be cool.
Mike Snody did a neat one of him doing one of his simpler patterns. It wasn't high speed like that, but it was very cool. It's in a thread here somewhere.

Marking knives like M-18 Claymore mines, that'd never work.

The hitch receiver claymore replica would be awesome with a clacker for a shifter knob. I've been wanting one for years, just don't need it . I checked with local LEO's about the legality of running dummy wires from it up under my Jeep. I was advised against it although it wasn't technically illegal.

mmmmmmm!!!
mystery metal knife -- made by a Taiwan smith who forges them out of artillery shell casings he finds on the island.

I'm thinking it may be a good time to rip out the gass fireplace insert that came with this house and get the chimney inspected so I can start using it with wood again.... Every time I see pictures of a nice fireplace it makes me want to go to the back and start a fire. Lucky for me... the ice storm we had has left a tone of downed trees around for some easy firewood gathering!

seems like for various reasons they use a stainless steel insert now, whether or not you're eventually going to use a wood stove - apparently worlds easier to clean and maintain. worth the money!

mmm, wood stoves. check out Moresø
