I'm in one of my Opinel phases these days, I guess.
They're just such good slicers. They pair up nicely with a more rugged Becker. Small figure four in the pic, vintage komandirskie on the wrist.

I let my Lodge Sportsman grill get wayyyyy too rusty. (Sorry, no pic. Just imagine a LOT of rust.)

Took it to and got it sandblasted today.

They did good work. I can't believe it looks this much better.



Now to get a little seasoning on it.

A Crisco bath and now an hour on the grill.

 
Load up the ol flask with some Maker's Mark, for the cabin run. Already some there, but not as cool as the flask, haha.
 
i'm gunna snark every minute with my tractor :D

Lurkers will most likely be mightily bored for the next coupla weekends.....but hey, it's your pony. Ride it however you want.

I'll be around....our Gathering's not until next weekend. Might even play with knives a little ;).

Opinels are awesome. I keep one with the knife I made for myself for finer tasks. The only thing I don't like about them is how the wood swells in the humidity.

Need to get some more number 8s.

Today after work, beer drinking sounds like a plan. Drunk until I can't feel my hand lol
 
beautiful day in the gulf. nice weather. slept like a baby. waitaminute... babies wake up every couple hours. Silly phrase.
