Let me get this straight: you left work and drove around your neighborhood until you found the mail truck. You then held him at finger point until he searched his truck for a package for you. You showed him 3 forms of ID and slipped him a twenty and he gave you your knife early!?!?

Yep, that's about the size of it. :D Honestly, he's been my mailman for 14 years and he knows how I am sometimes. I've done this before and he doesn't mind at all. The only problem is that I'm hungry as all get out. Didn't have time to grab any lunch. But by golly I've got my Fremont!!

Is the giraffe bone dyed or does in naturally come in all the colors?

I just looked at a lot of the Fremonts and that is some amazing variety...some even have stripes in them.

When things sit, it is usually the wood ones. I love the wood ones, so when I have opportunity to have more made, I will. :)

Our supplier buries the bones for a year and then stabilizes them with color.
 




As I mentioned earlier, the coin is awesome too. Looks much better than my horrible pic implies.

Very nice! I got the heads-up email the day before and was thinking about grabbing one of these (that black linen Micarta is pretty awesome), but I've got too many upcoming knives reserved, so I passed on this one. (I might regret that down the road. :rolleyes:)
