Awesome photos! This knife is a keeper, I have the same model.
Came in yesterday's mail. What can I say? As close to a custom knife as I'm likely get! Fred and Barney[IM[/IMG]![]()
Yep it's a beauty alright!
Does anybody remember when these will be made again and in what materials?
I just checked GECs website and it's on the production schedule now.
#79 NORTHWOODS
FREEMONT JACK
S.F.O.
KNIVESSHIPFREE.COM
Mammoth Bark Ivory
OD Green Linen Micarta
Blue Camel Bone
Yellow Camel Bone
It's disappointment no wood is listed. Some were made with wood last time, but it took a while before they became available on KSF. By then I already had one in bone.
Pretty sure there will be giraffe bone. Derrick post a pic some time ago.
wow. this is an old thread!!
I do know what handles, but will not be releasing it. The reason is that in the Zulu release, I had a handle material that didn't get made and we ended up making a lot of people angry because we didn't release it.
So.... It will be a surprise.Like Christmas.
Derrick,
Can you share any information about the release date for the new run of Fremont Jacks?
Thanks!
Derrick - what is the blade steel on these?
I don't have anything concrete, but probably about a week or 10 days. We are going to release all of them at once. If you are on our newsletter, you will get a notice.
