Northwoods #79, a dream come true?

It is a fine knife. But I did manage to cut two different fingers trying to close the knife (on two separate occasions). This modified Sheepsfoot is VERY sharp out of the box.

Beautiful Mammoth! I wish the Bullet Jack had that option.
 
Does anybody remember when these will be made again and in what materials?

I just checked GECs website and it's on the production schedule now.

It's disappointment no wood is listed. Some were made with wood last time, but it took a while before they became available on KSF. By then I already had one in bone.

Black micarta and Mammoth Fremont covers were posted in GEC's "what's happening" section.

Anybody know what other covers we will see for the 2016 Fremont? - Derrick?

wow. this is an old thread!!

I do know what handles, but will not be releasing it. The reason is that in the Zulu release, I had a handle material that didn't get made and we ended up making a lot of people angry because we didn't release it.

So.... It will be a surprise. :) Like Christmas.

Derrick, any chance you will produce the Fremont with a normal, flat ground blade? Maybe make them bare headed to differentiate them even more? I would love an ebony one. I just always go back to this proto pic. I owned a forest jack and while I loved the knife, I have grown used to more thinly ground blades.

I don't have anything concrete, but probably about a week or 10 days. We are going to release all of them at once. If you are on our newsletter, you will get a notice.
 
Very anxious to see the pricing on these. Unfortunately I am in Canada and the Kniveshipfree does not apply!

I would love a camel bone but I think price will drive me to micarta. Still a beautiful knife!

I don't know if I'll get a Fremont or not (I definitely want one) but I think this is a good call. A full selection all at once. Brilliant!
