Northwoods #79, a dream come true?

Sold out in 20 minutes...pretty amazing! Didn't order one as no cash available, but I did watch them dwindle online just for fun. Crazy!
 
Got the newsletter, for some reason at 6:14, for a sale at 6:00, and they were gone as soon as I logged in. :(

My question is why build up the newsletter, talking about the secondary market and $500 prices etc when the demand is already there? It will only push people to buy extra for scalping purposes.
 
Although I have several GEC's, this is my first Nothwoods folding knife. About 3-4 years ago I saw a rustic Northwoods knife on Instagram and knew right away I was going to get into traditional pocket knives. I liked everything about the look of that knife. I liked that it looked completely different from my father-in-law's silly looking, over-polished, super decadent, limited edition 1 of 25,000 Case knives. It looked like something I could carry, use, and enjoy looking at. Hopefully this knife will be all that.

Got two, a denim and a black. These are some of the finest knives in my opinion, very useful pattern, perfect size and awesome looks!

Didn't know what newsletter you meant, just got it, lol. Little late, KSF.

Fortunately, I got a heads up yesterday already so no big whoop.

#$@^%! I can't believe I missed these. 20 minute window? Just amazing how demand for some of these GEC-made knives is increasing. Congrats to everyone who grabbed one, and of course, to Derrick and GEC for another successful product! :thumbup:
 
KSF wasn't late on the newsletter. Some peoples email servers are slower than others. I got the letter 20 minutes before release.

I had them in the cart and couldn't get to checkout fast enough.......talk about bummer...
 
Was able to snag #50 orange giraffe, and #54 black camel. Was really shooting for a green giraffe but sold out when checking out.
