I honestly couldn't tell you. I can tell you how many have blade rub, and that's one - the Presidential.
What do you consider perfectly centered? Do you measure? Eyeball? What's your level of tolerance? Mine is that the blade isn't completely over to one side. If it's a smidge off and still works perfectly, it doesn't bother me in the slightest. Are you worried about aesthetics? Collector value? Resale? I generally buy my knives to be carried and used, with a few exceptions. So if it works and won't impact use, it's all good.
All that said, neither opinion is right or wrong or better or worse. That's the nice part about this place and addiction, everyone has a unique take on it

I'm just curious what your reasons are for the preference.
