Just got my blue today. Love the subtle hints of white and yellow. The scales don't match up perfectly but that's alright. Nice snappy opening with a great halfstop.

Beautiful knife Jon. I have a presidential with the same coloration, and I love the mixed colors that make the knife much more interesting. This batch of blue camel bone is really nice.

Honestly..... I was hesitant in going with the yellow bone, but now that I have it in hand, I am delighted. I think it complements the Burnside Jack very well. A couple of keepers there.

I thought the yellow was going to be too much like the calico bone (which I have), so I ordered the blue. That yellow is a stunner....very different than the calico....very nice knife...congratulations.

Should be noted that when I purchased my mammoth one, there were only TWO specimen available with blue camel bone left.

Mine looks excellent, too...But I think if I tried to cut butter with it, it would bounce off. Not sharp at ALL. That can be fixed, though!

Not sharp, yes that can be fixed but the blade not being centered can't.

I'm going to send it back for another one. The centering isn't bad but it bothers me. I realize it's a production and not a custom but I'm meticulous.

I figure it'll get more scratched from use anyway.

Thanks! For me it was in between this, 37, and 43. I love that they go through the trouble of showing each individual knife.

The patina looks amazing with these. Something about the scale selections, the blade finish, and the patina just does it for me.

The Burnside Jack is a Blue Camel Bone also. Some of that group of knives seem to have more of a bluish-green color than the newer blues.
