Back a bit in the thread, Charlie did say the pen on the mark mark side is the classic heavy jack configuration, or something to that effect.

So I think that's what we're getting on the 'Black Jack'.

Nice work Darren (and Charlie for the vision), really provides a nice visual on how beautiful these will be. This also reinforces my opinion that you could do an ebony run with every pattern, just always looks so classy.

I actually thought it might need to be bigger based on how large the banner shield is...but it didn't look right any bigger unless I pushed it closer to the center.

I agree, ebony has quickly become my favorite cover. Can't wait for this knife to hit the streets!

Actually it's pretty close!! There will be two lines on the Bolster. And likely nickel pins and liners.
I am trying to go for all black and silver!!

I think you have sized the banner shield just about right. I hope Bill makes the shield this size or smaller otherwise the shield will overwhelm the handle.
