October BOTM--847 Vantage Force Pro with genuine cocobolo and S35VN!

Wondering if there's even an October BOTM coming, with the Kalinga re-release and the Danny 2.0 run seems like a lot going on...

I wouldn't mind a slight delay to at least let my Peretti purchase transaction get posted. ;)
I was going to say everyone has slightly depleted bank accounts since the Peretti thing but then I realized that only affects no more than 200 people (less because some people bought multiple models). I'm not sure how big the Buck knife collecting universe is regarding BOTM. If Buck puts out a BOTM that isn't too "ordinary," I wonder how many people Buck can rely on that would have ordered one. I have been one of those people but I did pass on the last two offerings. If the price isn't too high and if it is something that has some "wow" factor, I am usually in. It seems they don't have trouble selling out 500 of things that have some "wow" factor. Like the copper February BOTM I think sold out very fast. They have sold out all the BOTM except April. I bought that one but I am sure it isn't selling because the price is high for what it is. They still have 180 of those. Maybe those that didn't get one in April will be able to pick it up at a discount at the end of the year.

It may be the BCCI affliction also. 😂 As I'm not currently active hunting or fishing, the fixed blades do not have as much appeal to me right now, though I've still gotten a couple of them. My preference is usually for the more classic folders provided the prices aren't too high and depending on what else I've recently purchased, e.g. Peretti.

I could go for a stacked leather handle fixed blade. I have the 117s they did awhile ago. I had a 192 and a 124 custom made by private customizers. So anything other than those. 105 would be good.

To me this month will always be Shocktober, so I'd like to see a traditional model offered in orange.

I don't pay attention to these Buck of the month knives though, because it's always just something in one of the fancy modern steels I have no interest in.
If they do say a 113 ranger skinner in 5160 I'd really be interested.

I'd love Buck to do something in bare 5160 and stacked leather, especially with brass fittings.
The 105 isn't for me, but a 102 or 117 I'd love.

I'd be happy for you guys if they did a 105 though.
I'm always good with 117. just not really a fan of the 102. handle is just too small and short for even my little girl sized hand. cant imagine it in Roger's DeSotoSky DeSotoSky paws..... be like a 2 finger knife for him.
