I have to take some pictures, it was a little too large for the lightbox, but I will make it work.

Hey Guys,

I am still here but have not been in a posting mood. My Dad passed away recently and I have been dealing with all the arrangements, helping my Mom, etc. I still plan on going and I am pretty sure Uncle Billis in as well. I have been emailing Tom, he is kind of having a hard time with things but he said he was still in for Oct.

BTW, love the hawks!

Prayers sent, Sean.

My sincere condolences.

definitely prayers sent sir. i can't imagine how hard it is. hopefully you still make it out to hang around and get your mind off things. very sorry for your loss sir.

Thanks for your prayers. My Dad was an interesting guy and lived a long life (84). He had been going downhill for the past 5 years but it was still hard to see him pass.

I'm glad that you are still planning on making the trip Sean. Looking forward to seeing you all in just three weeks!

Jeff

Sorry to hear about your dad. Glad your still planning on coming the more the merrier.

Since I committed late, I thought I'd bring something to snack on. I got a 5 lb bag of roasted peanuts (hope ya'll aren't allergic) and am going to try and make some deer jerky if I have time. If not I'll bring some summer sausage or something. Anybody got a good jerky recipe?

Hi kyturkey -

Sounds good - I don't have either allergies to peanuts or a good recipe for jerky.....

Looking forward to the trip though.

best regards -

It looks like Uncle Bill is coming as well. We will ride there together and plan on leaving around 6 am.

So with Uncle Bill we have seven and the cabin sleeps eight. Room for one more.
