What you got? They are really simple actually, just takes practice! Its the lenses that make or break the outcome.

Nikon D90 I think. My stepmom is a camera snob and there was something newer and better ;) I have taken some decent pics with it, just don't understand all the stuff on it

Sweet. I hate doing studio stuff. I try to capture my clients as naturally as possible because nobody looks like those walmart picture poses in real life.

I think they were for babies. I try my best to look Walmart, but about all I can pull off is a Family Dollar pose. :D

Nice! Best things you can do for yourself are:

1. Never use your onboard flash. Ever. Ever.
2. Get yourself the cheapest nicer lens you can find. You can usually find a starter for about $100.
3. Every photo can use some editing, whether you darken, adjust contrast, whatever, every photo can be better by retouching.
4. READ the manual. If you want to learn your camera you have to read the manual, front to back, like you are studying for a test. Know everything there is to know. Do what you have to in order to get it off full auto. I cheat and shoot in shutterspeed priority, but anything is better than full auto.

Have fun!

Yeah I worked in a restaurant in a trendy area of town once. A guy came in acting kinda strange and asking people for $. I pulled him aside and he claimed he was mentally handicapped and missed his bus to go home(a greyhound going out of town). I gave him some cash and sent him on his way. A month later he came by with a different story, so I did the only logical thing. I chased him down the street screaming "YOU'RE NOT F!@#ING RETARDED!" I never saw him again, but I think he got the point.

Woke the woman up laughing at this visual! Thanks for getting me in trouble, the good laugh and making me cuddle her back to sleep.

:) Yeah, after I did it(even though I was pissed at first) I started laughing so hard.

I have a Nikon D1. Hardly used, because I've never read any of the three manuals. I keep telling myself "one day". I have two camera bodies for it, but one is a souvenir.

Thanks for the info, she did go over shutter priority and all that stuff. I will find time soon to have a go at it :)

1. Irfanview is essential for the photographer.
2. I have realy had a lot of Jack Daniels tonight.
4. I like my new sig.

I was going through a box of odds and ends in the workshop and found this today. Bought it a long time ago and forgot all about it. I feel almost clichy. :D

Sweet. You ought to post that one in the Schrade Collector's forum. Those dudes would really appreciate seeing it.

Am I the only one refreshing Tomars Machax page over and over watching for the check back soon to disappear?

Lure them to the gathering, we'll play "Surviving the Game" since Ark is being all uppity.

that should make things interesting!
there's only enough of him to feed 2, unless you're making soup and i don't haul the big pot camping.
of course, we could always add him to the potato packets... :D

School sux. Wait no being married sucks. As a single guy I got 5700 a year in grants. Now that I'm married, not a.damn thing. Selling the farm again. Well not really just the high ticket items. Still will have plenty since I'm only about 6 bills short on tuition for this semester.

Man, if I didn't just buy a 10LE I would have jumped on one of those Beckers. Very nice stuff.
