I really wish we had a knife store worth a crap here, it is really nice to hold a knife in hand, you look at pics all day, but 5 seconds in the hand and you can tell if it is worth a crap.

That is exactly what inspired me to expand the inventory at me shop. I've got appr 200 knives on display with more arriving every week.

hey WW thoughts and prayers to you and your family. seeing loved ones get sick is horrible. my mom is currently being treated for bladder cancer, stepdad is having serious issues not being able to pee.... they have no clue what it is.. and we also had to put my Grandma in a home because she is incontinent and just can't take care of herself anymore. sucks. makes you thank God for all the little things.

Thanks bud, and right back at you!! I hope things work out for your mother and step-father.

Yea we have to really appreciate the small things and take advantage of each day.. We never know how many we got left.

just damn.

Thanks, ralphtt.

Bah!!! Ties that need to be tied have been banished from my life. I only wear the "Official Tie of Texas", the Bolo Tie.

Last time I wore a necktie of any sort was for my HS senior picture over 25 years ago, and that was only because it was my Grandfather's and he had recently passed away. I'm one of those dudes who the first thing he does when he buys new t-shirts is stretch the dickens out of the neck-hole... hate having anything tight around my throat :thumbdn:

I got all excited thinking you were in San Antonio for a second.. lol Where is your shop at?

LMAO, i just been watching some TV and relaxing on the couch with the missus. Wife just went to bed a few minutes ago though so now im back to surfing the web :)

Just finished this little guy up for myself. Gotta thank GSOM again for introducing me to curly maple. This isn't from what he sent, but I'm really loving the wood, and can buy pieces at Woodcraft. 1/8" CPM 3V, 7.25" OAL with a 3.5" blade for legal carry here in Colorado, balance at the first finger, and shaving sharp.

Thanks bud! Nice thing about making swords is that there's usually these little chunks that I get from cutting out the handle portion that are perfect for these little blades.

Yea man no reason to let good 3V go to waste. Id be making dashi's, chop sticks lmao or anything just to use the steel all up. Id have little 3V dice if thats all the steel that was left HAHA

Waste not, want not. Got a bunch that I had HT'ed in the same batch as your blades, that I need to finish. One of the swords started with a katana-like curve, and Brad seems to have straightened it out :( It's now more like a Grosse Messer, which is fine, but not what I had intended. All kinds of challenges with grinding a blade that long :(
