Convexed the edge on this one and followed up with a 15 dps micro bevel and has a patina starting to form. If I get time today I may polish the bolsters and micarta. These are a sweet knife for sure

I plan on going over the knife with various grits of SC paper, 400-600-1200 grit then buff with green compound.

I didn't polish the bolsters on mine. I just made them a bit more satiny. I don't like the heavy lines in the finish GEC leaves on satin bolsters. A little emery cloth, rust eraser and some Flitz. I may hit them again to smooth them out a bit more.

This weekend saw: 1 lemon, 1 apple, 1 pork rib, and a decent amount of time on the Sharpmaker and strop. I think it's ready for pocket carry in the Louisiana heat and humidity.

Actually, That "T" looks awesome. Kind of Cryptic looking. I thinks that adds character bigtime!
