"My first TC, It's a "S" but the only thing wrong..."
What's meant by "S"? I saw another comment about these being "S" models.
Well doneI didn't polish the bolsters on mine. I just made them a bit more satiny. I don't like the heavy lines in the finish GEC leaves on satin bolsters. A little emery cloth, rust eraser and some Flitz. I may hit them again to smooth them out a bit more.

This^^^^^^^^^the S applies to store only and a 2 refers to a second. as Christine Tucker explained
I thought I heard S for store only is because it might have a very slight defect . I could be wrong so please chime in if I'm not .
Could of swore I read that somewhere possibly on a sales thread .
That's right. It's a knife they'd prefer to sell in person because of some nearly imperceptible defect. I think of it as tiers... 1st quality > Store knife > Factory Second.
honestly i couldnt find any issues with their store knives. i even asked Patty who pointed out the 48 weasel sitting in the case had uneven and ugly stag. which i suppose in their strict qc makes it a store only, but I thought it was perfectly fine. same for the 15 i bought during the rendezvous
In my experience, the most noticeable flaw on store knives is, by far, the "S".
Are "s" knives voided by warranty? In my experience, the most noticeable flaw on store knives is, by far, the "S".

So "s"knives can be sent in for warranty issues?A return is different than warranty.
