dude WTF u are making us look like slobs! lol, good stuff all around here, great motivation. I'm gonna attempt another 6 mile interval run tomorrow, so stoked I lost 3.5 pounds this week!!!

I've been running pretty steady for about 3 years now building my distance over time. This challenge (at least in my head) is to get us to push ourselves. For most people it is a challenge to get 50 miles in a month, for me it is a challenge to get 50 miles in a week. My running week runs from Monday to Sunday with Wednesday and Sunday usually being rest days. I've had my highest weekly total ever this week because of this challenge. This week is done with 55.6 miles. I hope the motivation of this challenge lasts, as well as my legs lasting until Dec.15.

I find if motivational for me to push myself because everybody else who is participating is pushing themselves. Keep up the great work everybody.

Had a conference after work last night so I took yesterday as a day of rest.
Made up for it today.
280 assorted crunches and 30 push-ups.
6 mi bike = 1.5
1.5 mi walk = 1.5
1 mi swim = 6
3 mi jog = 3
12 points for the day, bringing my total to 21.
Whew.

On 11-22, I swam 650 meters, one third of a mile, which is two points and I walked my dog for one mile, giving me three BPs for the day.

Current total BPs: 9.5

Found some time for a swim. Felt good, as usual. I've been suffering from a little cold and I did feel it quite badly when I was trying to swim 25m under water a couple of times.
In total it was just over a mile, (1750 metres) but I'll just stick to that mile. That's 6BP and a grand total of 22.41BP at the moment.

Awesome, dude, keep it up! I used to jog a lot when I was younger and then became lazy, gained weight...getting back on the saddle but been avoiding jogging to avoid stressing the knees, but It's almost 2 months since I started to moddify my eating habits and mix up my workouts with mountain bike trails, gym, threadmill and some swimming so I have done 2 long distance interval runs in the last week. So far I've lost 19 pounds and am feeling great! To further motivate myself I challenged myself to NOT buy a knife til I dropped 25, so I'm knocking at the door. Next will be either a black RMD or a stag handled Muela Jabali short version.

Today I jogged/walked (3 min jog/1 min walk intervals) 7.4 miles...and didn't puke or faint! lol, that has never happenned to me but it's been a while since I've felt as exhausted as I did this morning. Total = 17.8 BPs

11/20/2013 walked 0.5 miles

10.35 BP to date

Dropped off my car down the hill, and jogged back up. That hill looked SO much shorter driving down.

Got home, brought my kid to soccer practice, and jogged for an hour. After the 1 hour mark, I walked and stretched out.

11/22/2013 0.25 miles
11/23/2013 7.59 miles

18.19 points to date

just an idea to keep up the motivation: how about a weekly leaderboard?

Not to be a wet blanket, but we have people who are fat.....ME people who are really old and fit Col Defender, people in their prime and everything else in between its not really a fair contest just more of a try to do something better for yourself.
